Sounds as good as she looks
Saw her on "The Top Ten Revealed" and thought to myself "who is this chick"? Did some research and bought her CDs. All of them are pretty good in their own way but this is the best Rock and Roll one of the lot.

Great music from a very stylish voice, but horrible recording quality.
Great songs from a terrific singer. Absolutely love her style. But the quality of the recording is lacking. It is not up to par with today's music. I bought the disc and it came with a free download. the quality of the download is unlistenable. Too many highs, no base, sounds like they recorded it in a bathrrom. Unfortunately, the disc was not good either. You can listen to it, but it sound more like it was recorded on an old cassette tape rather than a cd.

This record Revives my Soul with every time I listen to it! And it will Revive yours too!
I can't get enough of Dorothy! This album has so much soul! Dorothy's powerful and soulfilling vocals are incredible as well as her writing! Also to note, the guitars sound so much clearer on this record too and I absolutely dug that! "Flawless" reminds me of something off of Exile on Main ST. I'm obsessed with this band!! This album makes me get up and dance all the stress and worries of life away completely! With how Good Dorothy and her band sound on this record, It makes the anticipation for the next record unbearable! I love you Dorothy Martin! You And your band are AMAZING!!!

A Big Step Forward, But Still Not Great
This album is a big step forward from the debut LP. The songs are more diversified musically comparatively to the debut, with a feeling of Grace Slick era Jefferson Airplane mixed with Modern Rock. Dorothy's vocals are still fantastic and very strong. The recording is compressed and a bit overly loud, but better than the debut. The musicianship is much more interesting than the debut, which may be owed to producer Linda Perry's influence. What stops this album from being on the same level of awesome as The Pretty Reckless albums is the songs themselves. The songs are all "good", but nothing here is "exceptional". If you like female led Rock, you won't be disappointed, but this album doesn't stand up compared to the FANTASTIC album just released by The Pretty Reckless called 'Death By Rock And Roll' which has 5 "exceptional" songs and overall a MUCH better LP. The other criticism I would give Dorothy is to learn some nuance when singing. She tends to sing everything on "full bast" which is rather emotionless and gets tiresome after a few songs.

This album ROCKS!!!!!
I can not say enough good things about this WONDERFUL album. Dorothy rocks like a young Grace Slick! I keep this album on high rotation in my car. Fantastic, kick ass album that rings true. "Flawless" and "White Butterfly" are the standout tracks. If you love, Grace Slick, Halestorm, The Pretty Reckless and Joan Jett BUY THIS ALBUM!!!!
