Fitomo Hip Support for Women, Sacroiliac Support Belt with Back Support

Bought this as I have EDS and dislocate everywhere, often suffer with lower back pain and hips sublux so needed some form of support. I saw this and decided to try it out. The actual support feels very good quality material with a good stretch on the elastic without being too stiff. I have a round stomach with bit of an overhang after pregnancy and 17 stone weight loss so not a slim figure (average 14-16) and this doesn’t roll down or move around like a lot of others I have tried. This fits lovely and when you do the secondary tightening the support given is something else you literally breathe a sign of relief once it has been tightened on the second set it’s strange like there are people all round you holding your waist up it’s hard to describe but something else to experience. I’d highly recommend this to anyone with lower back or hip pain. I’ve even wore these over jeans and it still provides great support and is flexible I was that impressed with this item I also checked out the brands other items and bought some other supports which are also great quality

Got this for hip pain. A good support, it worked really well. Best worn low around the hip,it wraps round and fastens with velcro which is nice and secure. The belt has an additional support of outer straps that can be altered to increase tension and support. Make sure you order right size for your hip. I found it well worth getting.

UPDATE, (Since writing this review, the company have reached out to me, and they have been brilliant, understanding and its been resolved completely now) . I have had this a few weeks now.. it takes a while to get used to it and position it in the right place. For an older lady with a bit of a tummy, it's sometimes tricky. But after a while it does actually lessen the pain in my hips and keeps them supported and I wear it for the gym and work.. but have started to notice that a little bit of stitching is starting to come undone and the velcro main bit at the front is becoming not so secure and sometimes pops open, I have cleaned it, but it still happens.. so I just need to be more aware of this when in the gym.

This is great for standing up but on sitting down it just rolls up , good for standing for brief periods but can’t provide the level of support I need when sitting, it is comfy though. I just think it’s a bit expensive.

I suffer with EDS hypermobility and normal back supports do not keep my sacroiliac in. This is brilliant and helps to reduce the pain significantly

I bought this because I was suffering from pain in a hip that felt as if it was sliding into my sacral area. I didn't visit a doctor, or have any diagnosis so cannot say if is good for specific joint disfunction. This belt has helped me though. I have been wearing overnight when my right hip often slides out of joint a bit, and at the times when my back pain is worse, (mostly standing or sitting still for long periods, and when driving). My back felt similar to a sprained ankle inside and does seem to be getting better with this belt giving support while it heals.

As with all items for support of pain etc, its hit and miss. You have to try everything and some things work and others don't. Its all very individual - as pain is. This belt is very good quality and fits nicely and stretches and sits on the hip nicely. The jury is till out on whether it will do any good, not because of the belt itself, but because of the nature of my hip/pelvic pain. But the quality of the item itself is excellent.

I was getting deferred pain in my leg from my lower back and this definitely seems to have helped with that however I can’t wear it for long periods of time because I start to get a bit of a stomachache. Hence, only four stars.

Ero un po' scettica ma una volta indossata il dolore all'anca è diminuito molto, non è per nulla fastiosa da portare.

This has been a life saver for my SI joint. Easy to use and does the job. I can recommend this belt. As an 80 year old active female taken care of a disabled spouse I can do what is neeeded.
