What a beautiful accent to my backyard! I love it! I placed a number of river rocks at the bottom of the basin to stabilize my rain chain. It was easy to add it to my rain chain. The directions were easy to follow and the size was just right. The quality of the piece and color match my rain chain and I love viewing it through my kitchen window in the morning while enjoying my leisure mornings.

This is a beautiful basin for the bottom of a rain chain. The quality is exceptionally high. I thought it might be possible to use it as a hanging bird bath, but since it isn't really made for that purpose, it isn't built to hang even. It needs to be placed on the ground or some sort of short stand. It can be set to hold the water from the rain chain, or to gradually release the water from the bottom. It is beautiful when it arrives. Patina will develop over time when it is left outdoors.

Absolutely beautiful piece and good price, too!! Beautiful shine, well made quality piece. I bought this as a fountain base. I live in a condo, so I do not have a rain gutter/drain. I wanted to create my own fountain, and this piece works perfectly. I inverted the chain holder and screwed it in upside down, as I placed it over an open flower container (soon to be a wrought iron holder) for starters. The screw came with plastic washers to make the hole watertight, so I just used those. Lowe’s and Amazon for the fountain and other hardware.

Our rain chain hangs over concrete and we get lots of wind. So a standard anchor won’t work. This is a great alternative method to anchor your chain. Price seems a bit steep compared to other parts. Half the price of the rain chain. But assuming it’s probably due to the cost of copper. So far we are pleased with the look and it stays put once we added some river stones.

It is pretty but the dish only has attachment in the center so it hangs cockeyed when it’s not raining

Absolutely gorgeous! High quality. Easy to attach to chain. Disperses water evenly through our garden and doesn’t allow for pooling. The color is perfect.

Sturdy bowl, looks great with our rainwater chain. I used aquarium silicone glue for the anchor in the middle so it doesn't leak and it's serving double duty as a cute bird bath.

I added these to the bottom of a couple of rain chains and love them. They have held up despite having 2 small kiddos that like to yank, play in and run things over them.

Perfect basin for our rain chain. We weighted it with a few rocks because we live in a very windy area but it works perfectly to stop the water from eroding our soil!
