I love this ladder/step stool. I mainly use it for my toddler but it is sturdy enough for an adult. My toddler loves to look at me prepping/cooking/washing dishes/wash her own hands- super lightweight. I was considering the wooden toddler towers and I'm so glad I decided on this instead as it's so much lighter- foldable and I can store it away easily- easy to clean (nightmare on the natural wood towers to get food and stains off)- has a safety bar on the back that you can fold away or latch on for safety. The latch is sturdy and clicks into place and is not flimsy (toddler likes to lean her bum against it)- my toddler likes to push it around to get to the countertop she wants since it's so lightweight. This is a plus and a minus depending what I have on countertop :)- very sturdy so far- it is quite open on the front and back, even with the safety bar, so I do feel like I need to watch her closely just in case. But she's learned how she can lean on it and it hasn't been a problem

This worked perfectly for our grandson, who loves to be able to see what's going on while his mom cooks dinner or works on the counter. It's easy to fold and store, lightweight, and sturdy. The top works great for little hands to hold onto - providing an easy way for them to balance themselves if needed.

My 4 year old learned and figured out how to carry and un fold and fold up in the kitchen! Space saving and perfect for me 85kg mom! I wanted something versatile for me and the kids and space saving and light weight and not heavy wood so this worked perfectly!! I hope this product lasts long!

I suppose on a carpeted floor it would be fine. I return and bought a “wooden tower” . From Amazon. Doesn’t fold but much more safe for a little one who wants to wash their hands or be involved in baking cookies. Etc etc

Perfect for toddler and adult use. Folds away easily. And great price.
