Super pleased!
Very impressed with this rucksack. Used it for a few days on local trail and now 10 days holidays on MTB trails in wintery, wet Welsh weather.Did not use the provided waterproof cover as was too busy hanging on bars and saddle, but it kept my kit dry and mud free. And trust me it was super wet from rain, snow and huge puddles (Penmachno Trails are flooded all year round) stream crossing etc.Big enough for large first aid, lots of spares and tools (trail size) some food and extra layers and discarded layers too. The reservoir provided is ace. I have had many bladders in past, from top brand to cheap. This design works as can clean and dry easily, once I realized how to close it correctly without a fight it was a dream come true. Perhaps bladder performance can only be established on a very long term review, but so far so good. The pack is also small enough not to be a bother, sits well and I am size 12 short ish torso. Straps in to place good enough you forget it even over good bumps for rd xc trails, not sure about big jumps as they are not for me. At the price is a mega steel. I love the clean and smart look, black works although I prefer other colours. Can't praise it enough. Would buy for a present for friends as would look an expensive and good kit at a bargain price!

The perfect daypack for every situation
I love this backpack. Whilst I haven't had *this* one for very long, it is the third identical backpack I have bought. That's how much I love it. It is hard to fault it (save that if you use it every day, for everything, then after three to four years it does get worn out - the zip finally went on the last one - the one before just got a bit worn-out and yucky). It is designed for cycling, and I bought the first one for this purpose - and it is great for this - but the cycling features also make it generally useful. Things I love about it include:* Good sized main pocket - big enough for a packed lunch, a change of kids clothing, a small laptop ...* Nice big front pocket - can take a wallet and phone, plus has a couple of pouches where you can put pens/ibuprofen/spare carrier bags; also has a key ring so you don't lose your keys* Little front pocket - good for storing headphones to keep them from tangling* Helmet pouch - great for helmets but also perfect for water bottles, coats and anything else you want quick access to - the straps hold it all in* Water pouch pocket - good for the water pouch when cyclng or walking but can also be used for carrying documents around - the perfect slim pocket, right next to your back (so also pickpocket safe)* Water proof cover - don't need it often but SO USEFUL when I do* Chest strap - this is pleasingly longer on the latest version, so better suited so my larger female chest! It also had a very high pitched emergency whistle on it. I doubt I will ever need this but I guess it's comforting to know it's there ...* Nice long waist strap - makes it comfy to wear for long periods - when my son was smaller I would often carry him on my shoulders, with this bag strapped on he could sit back slightly on it and it would do a good job of spreading the weight

Good bag but...
Very good bag, unfortunately it didn't come with the rain cover as indicated on the ad. Also ordered it for father day and find it cheaper with prime delivery on an other seller.

Zipper needs strengthening
Agree with many other reviewers on this one... while this indeed is a great backpack (my second) you really feel that the main zipper would be sewn in using a more robust stitch than just single stitch! I feel the zipper will go on this far too prematurely for the bag itself like my last one did!!I’m going to take mine to a seamstress that can secure it better.

Nice bag with drinks bladder
Nice slim size but tall so has good space, nice internal pockets and key holder. Drinks tube and bladder is great to be included in the price as decent rucksacks are often more expensive with out this great feature.

vango quality at its best
Absolutely amazing product for the asking price. The bag is faultless and comes with everything that is an upgrade option for most other bags which costs extra money. It is very very durable and very strong, however, with the material it is made from and it's cheap price tag, I would be concerned for the longevity of the bag itself but as for now, it seems to easily be looking to last about 2 years with my current use. This bag would be PERFECT if it was made exactly the same but out of stronger material, the straps are not very strong and feel like they could give way after so much use. Having said all this, it is definitely worth the £25 asking price - It does not disappoint :)

bargain baggage
For £25 you can't beat it. Plenty of space for your bits and bobs, the front helmet pouch is a nice touch - my helmets visor makes it a bit of a balancing act but it's not an issue at all - the 2l hydration pack is fantastic, easy to remove, fill and put back with its internal velcro strap keeping it in place when your hooning about and falling off a hill if your me. The front pockets are maybe a bit small, ideal for a multi tool and an inner tube or two but not too much else. The main compartment is deep but not very big - horizontal depth is low - so it's fine for a thin rain coat and some snackables. Comfort wise is great, the straps are comfortable and soft, the chest and waist straps are strong and aren't intrusive either.Compared to brands like Evoc and others, this is no brainer as other brands are two to three times the price and have less carrying capacity. If you want to save a bit of wedge then is the bag for you.

Slightly larger than what I would consider a "typical" day bag. Pockets etc. well thought out
I wanted a new rucksack for skiing/hiking. This has three separate compartments , a helmet holder, a chest and a waist strap, a key safe, a sturdy but well protected hydration bag (with a decent diameter pipe) and a whistle in the chest clip. Not had a chance to try it out so can't comment as to its robustness but seems very good for the price.Shame it doesn't seem to be available in bright colours.
