VEVOR 12V Air Compressor with 1.6 Gallon Tank, Train Horn Compressor, 120 psi Working Pressure, Inflating Tires, Air Mattresses

I mounted this compressor on my truck to use with an air horn I got from a friend. I will note that the wires definitely get warm, but I have never noticed fire sparking temperatures like others have mentioned. The build quality is overall good despite the small wires. The tank also holds a good amount of air, and I get about a 14-second honk with the supplied air lines attached to my horn. This compressor motor is also on par volume-wise with my buddy's "Hornblasters" compressor. It is also significantly lighter, making installation easy. To fill up from empty is about 2 minutes. The pressure regulator also seems to work as expected, despite other reviews noting concerns. I will also mention I separated the compressor motor from the tank in order to fit it in the space I have, which was easy and didn't cause any issues. My main advice to others is make sure you put it on a switched relay just in case your install leaks a bit. Otherwise you will get annoyed from it constantly running.

Installing was easy, works great

Honestly is really good. Fills the tank from empty till full in about 30 seconds and it's enough air to make my 8 tier train horn louder than the trains that I live by. I can also hold it down and the same volume of noise will last till the fuse overloads which I haven't gotten close to that cuz when I use it the compressor loads more air in. Seemingly endless supply of air. Would definitely recommend for the price. AMAZING!!

Tested it out before installing, thank Goodness. The compressor only pumped up to about 67psi and no higher and wouldn't shut down after a time. I didn't want to chance burning up the compressor, maybe just a fluke or defective. All other items that were sent weren't used and still in the original packaging. I ended up returning it, maybe I'll reorder at a later time and hope that it functions properly.

So the compressor itself works well. There is no air filtration that I can see, the wiring coming into the motor is undersized for the amp draw and the motor has spring loaded bushings so IF you want to fix it yourself instead of risking a fire you’ll get to keep it for the air tank. Speaking of air tank, the gauge doesn’t work. Overall it’s cheaply slapped together and if given another chance, I’d spend and extra few bucks to get something a little higher quality.

It works good. I have the loudest air horns in the neighborhood.

Definitely not disappointed!! I will be ordering a few more soon for my other vehicles
