If I was well, I would try to bake these as they really are a little too expensive to eat on a daily basis, but I am not in good health & my husband adores all of the sweet tortas from Seville.They are so light, so delicious, with no olive oil taste at all. The almonds are chopped into small pieces & sprinkled on with the sugar.

So pleased to find these as online as the supermarkets don't stock them anymore. First ate them in a tapas bar and love the taste. They are expensive but made unusual Christmas presents for the family, who also love them.

It is not the same as before...found the sugar on top quite sweet and not as crunchy..but nice snack anyway

Incredibly delicious!!! :0)
You receive six tortas in a pack, each individually wrapped in a grease proof paper. They are flaky, very thin and delicate. The sweetness isn't over the top, it's just right! The anise seeds add a lovely gentle flavour to the pastry and the chopped almonds and sugar crystals on top finish the pastry perfectly! The ONLY thing that would make them better would be a scoop of cinnamon ice cream! ;0) I HIGHLY reccommend these little rounds of lovliness!!!! Enjoy!!!!
