I love sports romances and I was so excited to read this book. Riggs & Camilla were great together! Their banters were so entertaining and the jabs Cami threw at Riggs kept his ego in check. In the beginning I was very invested but the pacing kind of slowed down in the middle which is why the ending felt abrupt but the epilogue was perfect. The side characters were good and I'm looking forward to continue this series. Overall Riggs & Cami were a cute couple, the story was lighthearted and short but sweet, it was adequate.

Loved Riggs and Moretti!
Spencer Riggs has a lot to prove. The son of a legendary racer who died on the track after making a maneuver many considered reckless, he now has to prove that he has his father's talent but is a reliable team player worthy of a spot in F1.Camilla Moretti used to live on the tracks but moved away to go to college and stay away from a traumatic experience. She then opted for working on the family's olive oil business. When her father badly needs her help running and promoting Moretti Motorsports she can't say no.Things at Moretti are a little stagnant and to make matters worse, one of their drivers gets into a serious accident. They need a second driver. This is Riggs's chance. Too bad Riggs and Camilla already met and she now thinks he's a total jerk...So among fast cars, and road trips, noisy neighbors and dare cards, Camilla will find out that Riggs is so much sweeter than he'll ever let anyone know. And "baggy clothes bar girl" is so much more...Oh this was so much fun! I loved being immersed in the Formula 1 world and I fell in love with Camilla and Riggs. Camilla blooms from the girl in the baggy clothes to the confident boss in heels (sorta) and it's a joy to see. You get all choked up with Riggs's struggles with dealing with his loss and how much he wants his dream, but mostly with how much he's willing to give it up for "doing the right thing" for Camilla.Narration: The casting for this audiobook was perfect! Carly Robins is always a joy to listen to and she becomes Camilla. And who to play Riggs other than Shane East?! He's perfect as he cocky, full of swagger and oh so tender when needed racer! A wonderful listening experience of a great story!

Actions have lasting consent to the innocent
A fantastic story about the racing circuit, from a driver and an owners point of veiw. Camilla is the daughter of the owner who unfortunately has had a dreadfully dark experience that has affected her whole attitude to life, living and being. Riggs a racing driver whose father was a reckless famous F1driver. Riggs has always had to be judged by his father’s demise, and they way he drives. The story unfolds , and although yes there are some very dark subjects it is covered, sympathetically, leaving the reader to fill in the dots. The two meet when either doesn’t realise they will highly influence each others lives. The story is full of drama, romantic entanglements and tender emotional issues. It is well written , delightfully edited and descriptive. A great book. Part of a series this being number one.

🖤 Riggs & Camilla 🖤
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.🌶️🌶️🌶️/5.I must say that I was a bit skeptical of this story in the beginning because it all started with a bet and I don't like those very much however the way Kristy writes characters and emotion won me over pretty quickly. She delivered on the things that I appreciate the most in her books which are the feelings, depth and chemistry.Riggs has always been living under his father's shadow and not by his choice. He is chasing both his dream and nightmare which is to be a F1 Racer. I loved how everything was handled, both his grieve and how it was for him to live that way. I loved the man he was. Although it all started with him being an idiot, he quickly tried to apologize although a bit rude and obviously not enough but once he met Camilla again he went the extra mile, in a way, to make things right again. Not just because she was his boss's daughter but also because he recognized something in her and their chemistry never lied. There was something there and he subconsciously already knew it.Words matter. Words hurt other people. Riggs knew that but Camilla asked him to give it to her straight and he did. I liked that we got to see his side of that interaction where he felt really bad for doing it and he continued to make gestures to make Camilla see that he wasn't just what she thought of him. He was so much more than just an arrogant, cocky and handsome face.Camilla has some issues that she is still working on with her therapist and I liked seeing that. I loved seeing her finally facing her trauma head on, little by little. She took baby steps but she courageously did it. Riggs sparked something in her that she thought was broken. Riggs, unbeknownst to him, put Camilla on the journey of becoming who she was supposed to be if her "incident" hadn't happened but also someone who valurize herself and the important things in life. She became a strong woman. She owned it and I loved seeing it.FYI she doesn't like shopping, like at all, which is considered not normal however I'm the same. It was a win win for me and it was very relatable. 🙃Their chemistry was felt. It was a tangible thing and not in a way where they just felt attracted to each other. It really felt like these two were meant to be together and help each other through their issues. A true partner to one another. One of the highlights of this story was Rigg's mom. That woman is strong and she loves her son with all her heart. It was heartbreaking but also beautiful whenever she appeared on page.I liked the third act conflict. It was a blow out but not a full blow out ( you'll know what I mean when you read it). Riggs was right for being upset but in the end he was only lashing out because what she did hurt him. He understood Camilla and he knew that Camilla would never be like that for no reason. I loved that they communicated instead of dragging it out and I also loved the make up session they had afterwards. 😉They were perfect together and this book is a favorite of the year. I'm already looking forward to reread it in December or maybe even before that. I'm excited for the next book in this series.

A high-octane pulse-pounding masterpiece
Buckle up, I've just crossed the finish line of "Off The Grid" by K. Bromberg, and let me tell you this is a high-octane, pulse-pounding masterpiece, and an absolute page-turner that I devoured with the voracity of a hungry speedster on the track. This is pure swoonfest adrenaline rush, it delivered steamy angst, a magnetic connection, and characters that set the pages on fire.Spencer "Riggs" Riggs and Camilla Moretti are a literary explosion, incendiary and explosive in their chemistry. Riggs, with his cheeky London boy charm, was the ultimate swoon-worthy hero. Naughty, charming, and utterly captivating, he and Camilla fell for each other in a way that was as beautiful as a perfectly executed overtaking maneuver. Their connection is electric, and the way their relationship unfolds is pure magic. Now, let's talk about K. Bromberg's knack for tearing at our heartstrings. She had me reaching for tissues right from the prologue. But fear not, dear readers, because K. Bromberg is a master at putting our hearts back together in the best way. This book is just the beginning of what promises to be an extraordinary series. For a Brit-loving bookworm like me, I'm hoping we get a glimpse of more British characters to join the race. Speaking of Brits, I can’t wait to get behind the wheel of the audiobook, with my favourite Brit Shane East and the exquisite Carly Robbins who I know will have us revving our engines like it’s the last lap as Silverstone - It's a casting choice that promises to be as epic as a final lap showdown, and I'm eagerly anticipating the audiobook release. For those of us who are passionate about Formula One, this book is a dream come true. It's like being on the grid at Monza, full of thrills and excitement. But it's not all about speed; this story explores some deep emotional themes. Both Riggs and Camilla have traumas to confront, and it's heart warming to see how they are there for each other, offering precisely what's needed. Riggs empowers Camilla in ways she didn't even know she needed. For someone with a reputation for recklessness and partying, Spencer Riggs will indeed steal your heart and take up residence in your soul.K. Bromberg has a magical touch for creating the most delectable Book Boyfriends, and this book is without and deserves all the stars on the podium, and I'm excite to see what twists and turns lie ahead in this brilliant series!
