Great balance training to condition the core, supporting muscles, improving balance & strength
This half balance ball training apparatus is huge and a bit heavy. In terms of size think of a snow gliding circular dish. This balance trainer appears to be made of at least two parts a lower heavy rubber-like base that has 8 feet projecting from the bottom. In the middle of the bottom piece is the access hole for inflating this ball and the plug to seal in air. Inflation was easy and took 2 minutes using the provided foot pump. The pump is all plastic, But I’ve used one just like it foryears for an inflatable inner tube this type of pump will last for years. The half ball comes with two white plugs and a white plug puller to remove a plug. These plugs are exactly the same as the plugs I’ve gotten with other balance balls, so there should be no worries about losing the plug. The top half of the balance ball is a half sphere screwed down along the rim into the bottom piece. The rim, the screws and the whole construction is very sturdy and durable. The material used in the half ball reminds me of rubber full size basketballs. The design has the logo placed in the top middle of the ball. This is perfect placement to guide your pair of feet when both are standing on the half ball. Or, if you are doing a single leg balance such as warrior three, then the logo is a good guide for where to place your one supporting foot. There are two big metal loops on each side thru which you will thread the elastic exercise bands. When I get on this ball, it feels very stable and strong ( in a good way) for something that is intentionally trying to be unstable. I look forward to developing not only my balance, but the strength and flexibility of my feet when using this.

Surface faded
The Half Balance Ball is a versatile exercise tool that enhances stability and strength. With included resistance bands, it offers a full-body workout experience. Its inflatable design allows for easy storage and portability, making it perfect for home or gym use. The surface is faded but overall works well.

This May Be My Most Surprising Piece of Equipment
If I wasn't an Amazon Vines reviewer, I doubt I ever would have purchased a half balance ball. Why would I buy a half ball when I could buy a whole exercise ball for less money? I had no idea what I was thinking! This half ball is their version of the BOSU (both sides up) Ball, which is primarily a balance trainer. You can use either side, the ball side or the platform side, to balance and perform exercises in a variety of positions.Just standing up on the ball takes some practice. The platform side up was more difficult for me. It's like a teeter or wobble board, except it can wobble in every direction. It is great for developing balance and ankle strength. People use it to improve their balance for snow boarding, skiing, surfing and other sports. You can combine it with other exercises to intensify your workout or use additional muscle groups. For example, you can do pushups using either side of the board. Each side will affect different muscle groups. You can do all sorts of squats and leg exercises that will force you to use additional muscles to stabilize your balance.I held on to suspension training straps (TRX type straps) while I learned to balance on both sides. As my balance and technique improved, I held the straps less taunt until I didn't need the straps. You could probably hold on to a wall or something else as well.I have incorporated the half ball into a lot of my workouts. There are loads of YouTube videos that show BOSU ball workout routines. Not only does it provide a great workout, it's lots of fun too.

Great for home workouts
I'm really loving this balancing ball for my home workouts. Some things that I really like include the build and design which has a grippy surface on both the ball and base to prevent slipping, the air pump that easily inflated the ball, and the included exercises and high-quality resistance bands which offers a versatile workout experience. The ball and tools is great for enhancing strength and stability but also offers the convenience of easy storage.

gym quality equipment for at at home
This half ball seems to be very solidly build, with materials which should last a long time. The base has multiple feet around the circumference, so it is very stable when standing on the ball side. When the ball side is down, the base is flat and very solid, so your feet won't lose their position as you try to keep your balance. Both sides (the ball and and the base) have a very grippy coating, so you won't slide off.The air pump seems very cheap and flimsy, but it worked perfectly to inflate the ball. It'll hold the pressure in the ball until you remove the hose, so be ready with the air plug so you don't lose much air. There is no air gauge, so you may need to experiment to find the right amount of pressure to inflate the ball to the right size. I lucked out and got it right on my first try.The instructions come a list of exercises which you can do using the half ball. I've not used the resistance bands before, so I'll experiment with using them. They seem to be good quality as well.
