Scandal - Season 1 [DVD]

Great series but annoyed we have to pay when it was included on sky.

After hearing so much about Scandal from my family members i thought i will check it out and by one episode it left me wanting/needing more. The cliff-hanger everyone was wandering and asking themselves “Who is Quinn?” Not only did i enjoy every episode of the first seasons of Scandal, I have become a serious Scandal GLADITOR as i now want / need the second season of Scandal. Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington's) character is based on real crisis fixer, and the stories are created by the wonderful, amazing talented story writer Shonda Rhimes. The whole cast are amazing to especially the very talented and beautiful Kerry Washington as she plays Olivia Pope as usual with a star quality performance. Tony Goldwyn plays a very handsome talented President of the USA Fitzgerald Grant III, which leaves you breathless and speechless to say the least every time he is in a scene with Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) and equally on his own, he is so convincing in his role. Columbus short also stars in this wonderful exciting series, his acting ability, super talent and charisma shines right through your TV Scandal is based on love and power. Scandal is TV at its BEST – Thank you Shonda, Kerry, Tony, Columbus and full scandal cast for doing an excellent exciting job that i have ever seen on TV to date! I truly can’t way for season 2 to become available on DVD as i can’t get enough of this great writing and talented actors. I am not exaggerating, watch is and you too won’t be able to stop, as each episode is unique and additive in a good away as it is truly TV at its BEST and I LOVE IT!

I tried getting into Scandal when it first aired. But being the impatient sort of person, after the first 20 minutes of the very first episode, I gave up and BEFORE seeing the extremely hot,"look at me......look at me" incident in the Oval Office. Recently, I was sat at home, drifting through channels and stumbled on Episode 6. It was such an 'oh my goodness' episode and one of the most romantic scenes I have ever experienced on prime time TV. If anyone needs encouragement to invest in Scandal, then watch that single episode. I then found myself feverishly trying to find all the back episodes so that I could catch up on the romance of Olivia Pope and the President. In the end, I bought the DVD and have been hooked ever since. Scandal is without a doubt a first class show. Love it.

To be honest, I'm a but devided on it. It started at full speed, with bang on stories and intrigue. But the it seems to have faltered recently.

Like Shonda Rimes have seen both Greys anatomy and Private Practice enjoyed both of those and have just purchased ‘ scandal’ another series by her and enjoying it very much.

From the 1st time I saw this series on the TV I was hooked and can say that this DVD is just as good quality as what I watched at home, Shonda Rhimes writing and the whole teams production just make you want to watch it more.. like a bowl of ice cream and a glass of Oliva's favourite red wine.. this series as a pleasure to watch that relaxes and excites you.., awesome..

Really fast moving and fast talking series. Thoroughly enjoyable and very watchable. The whole concept of a team of 'lawyers' whose sole raison d'etre seems to be keeping the lid on any and all scandalous political and personal situations involving highprofile Washington figures is a good one. My only slight reservation is that the lady lead - the star if you like- admittedly verylovely ,and worth watching just for that, I found so young as to be slightly unconvincing as the main protagonist. Howeverextremely absorbing - highly recommended.

I realise I am few years behind but bought this on the recommendation of a friend. Really easy to get into from the first episode and I have to admit I am hooked. I even signed up to Amazon Prime so that I could watch Seasons 2 and 3.Great characters. Lots of twists and turns. An absolute must to keep you occupied on those cold winter nights inside!
