The Parlamain White Ceramic Bud Vase Set comes with 6 unfinished vases and a bundle of grass flowers. The vases have a very coarse, chalky feel to them but that adds to the charm I suppose. We ordered these with the intention to paint specific themes on them and then glaze them to protect the work. Proportionally, the weeds that come in the kit look a little too tall for the shorter stature of the vase and may need to be trimmed but that is purely a matter of taste, do not taste them. Full disclosure, when both me and my wife opened those we both started sneezing. That never happens.It's going to take a while for use to get these painted so I wanted to review them now instead of waiting forever then forgetting. The quality is good and the white should compliment most decors. They are packed really well and I have nothing but positive things to say. I consider them raw material for a future work in progress and you may consider them perfect the way they are. That's the beauty of it.

Vases and grass arrived beautifully packaged and ready for arranging. You will need to spend sometime cutting stems and arranging your grass to add dimension and loosen them up. It’s a bit messy as expected, since you’ll also need to gently shake some of the grass. I think they will also relax further over time. You can use scissors or just gently snap the stems to get some variation in lengths and you’ll need to be careful with the feathery ones to avoid them falling apart but overall pretty easy. The ceramic vases are so pretty and have the rustic unglazed feel to them. I added some height dimension as well, by using some lids and wood I had around the house. I haven’t got it quite perfect to my full liking just yet but some minor adjustments and allowing the grass to settle naturally will get it there soon! Overall I think the price is fair and the quality is on point!

I ordered these vases with dried pampas grass to use as a centerpiece on my dining room table. The vases look and feel very well made. They come packed in a box extremely well with foam support so nothing can break. The size of the vase is definitely on the smaller side but it doesn’t look bad. I do wish they were different sizes instead of all being the same size however it still look great all set up together. I like the fact that they give you different options of dried pampas grass & flowers. They all come the same size as well but can easily be cut to different lengths if needed. I like my vases just a little bit fuller than the amount they give you but you wouldn’t have to add more. I know they do get a little fuller over time so maybe I wont need to add more. Make sure to be outside or over a trash can when you open the pampas grass and flowers because they do shed. I got these vases to use in a drawing class that I teach. Students learn to draw still lifes from observation and I am always on the lookout for nicely shaped, simple objects that aren't too expensive. The white, matte, slightly textured surface is not reflective and is perfect for students who are just learning how to shade objects to make them look 3D. It's nice to have 6 of the same object so multiple students can draw the same thing at the same time. The grasses are nice quality, although I'm not going to use them at this time. They are safely stashed away for another art assignment, although I can picture using them for a simple arrangement that won't wilt. I am happy with these!

I love a simple minimalist decor. The vases are carefully packed. This can be a good gift set. The pampas do shed a bit. I suggest fluffing them in an area where you don't mind a bit of excess. I normally sun dry my pampas, but I was a little crunched for time, so I used the cool setting on my hair dryer. The results were fantastic. To hold the shape better, try using hair spray after you've gotten your pampas to the desired shape. Doing this trick will keep it in place for a long while. I designed my pampas by mixing and matching to create a varied style. The pampas' color and texture work great when mixed. It created depth and an eye-appealing focus. I love that the vases look and feel like quality even though they are minimalist in style.
