The necklace is nice enough as a piece of costume jewelry. It's shiny and eye-catching, but it does look mass-produced. The stone is supposed to be a moonstone, but it lacks any of the characteristic "adularescence" of moonstone. It's completely transparent, so it's shiny without any luster. Just like glass, it picks up the color of whatever surface it sits on, without any color of its own. That has a sort of appeal in and of itself, I guess, but it's not the appearance I associate with moonstone. I'm no gemologist, so I don't want to judge, but it doesn't look as interesting as moonstone should.
