Having read the good (and bad) product reviews for this tool I decided to go ahead and buy. So far I have not encountered any of the problems I read about. It is an excellent tool, comfortable to use with easy blade change.I used it to cut up an old solid hardwood wardrobe and also to cut through stud wall linings to make removal easier.The battery lasted a full day of intermittent use.I read many reviews before I buy and I am convinced that many (not all ) poor reviews are the result of the buyer either not reading properly the product details and exactly what is being offered, or not properly following the products instructions.One tip I would give is that just like a traditional hand saw, let the tool do the hard work ,don't push it too hard.

Therre's nothing more annoying than having a product cross the rainbow bridge almost exqactly 13 months after it was purchased. Mu reciprocal saw died today - comprehensibly. Charger making peculiar humming sound, battery smoking, tool mainshaft siezed. Ti its credit, several garden pruning operations and deconstruction of a sofa.Woth the money, even if you could get it? (Amazon have stopped suppllying). No, not really.

Great saw, really does the job well! I originally bought this saw as an Xmas present for my Husband, but, he didn’t actually try to use it until March. The blade locking mechanism wouldn’t work, but, the Seller very quickly replaced the item & was an absolute pleasure to deal with & made the whole exchange incredibly simple.

This is a really good tool. It’s light weight, yet powerful, with a good battery life. Used it numerous times since it arrived, so much so I wonder how I managed without it.

What started off as looking as a great value piece of equipment ended up not being very useful at all! On arrival this seemed like a well built Saw with a good sized Battery and a quick charging time, the Battery also had charging lights so you could tell how much charge it had left, very useful. It came with 2 good wood blades which cut soft and hardwoods well and on trial it did seem to be very good. It was put to work and was surprisingly powerful and up to most tasks asked of it but a Month in and it's died. It started smoking in use and then stopped. It has been returned and hopefully a full refund is in process. It's a shame as I'd hoped for good things from this Saw.UPDATE I purchased another one of these Saws from DOMU via ebay for £10 less and to date it's been fine with no issues and is a very useful piece of kit with no problems. I can only think the first was faulty in some way. I've added an additional star added to raise it's score to 4/5UPDATE 2 See picture, 11 months in and the Saw 2 has given up the ghost. It's not covered under warranty as I didn't register it!

I love this. I bought it for cutting through very dense plastic sewage pipe. I’d read many reviews of these saws and was disappointed with the short battery life. This one seemed to do better than the others so I tried it. Wow. So quick to cut and easy to use. Since cutting pipe into at least twenty sections I then cut some limbs from my apple tree and I still haven’t charged the battery!

It's one of those tools that you buy after finally convincing yourself that this sort of saw is of use. I considered buying one of these for years, but I have to say it's my new favourite toy. And let's be honest most guys think of power tools as toys that boys should have to look good with. It is really versatile with the wide range of blades that you can buy for it (and I did buy a few) and really easy to use. The safety switch set up works really well too. On top of this all its rechargeable and seems to last well on a charge. I've used it for various things now and love using it. I think the circular and the jigsaw is getting jealous. As you can see this toy started out well but I started a job with it and inside an hour the motor burnt out. A real smoker at that, so on this basis I downgrade my rating of this. It is clearly not up to proper work. A toy nothing more

Great tool. I bought this to dismantle pallets and it has not let me down. Slices through nails and cuts wood well. I have also cut down two large lavender bushes and this was a great help. Made logs with very little effort.4 stars as I would like the battery to last a bit longer but as I have nothing to compare this to, then I am probably being mean. I have found it a really valuable tool.
