In terms of length they were a lot smaller than I was expecting them to be but it’s fine because all the pieces arrived safely and I can’t wait to use them! The tools came in grate condition as well and the ring which fits my finger perfectly. ❤️ the only problem is the connecting pieces can get undone easily and your jewels, or what ever you are using, will come off so just be mindful of that.

I immediately liked this chain collection when I opened the box. There are 6 different types of chain ranging from light and delicate to heavy duty so this collection presents a lot of different design optionsThis is meant to be a complete chain solution. It includes lobster claw clasps, two different size jump rings (I haven't measured them yet and the size wasn't specified in the product description) as well as chain nose pliers, a side cutter, a jump ring opener ring and even a tape measure. These tools may prove to be useful for someone that doesn't already have similar tools in their jewelry making kit.When I saw the cutters I was encouraged. I thought that they might be special cutters that could cut through all of the chains. I would hesitate to use my good cutters on the chains because they are steel and steel has a tendency to ruin cutters so I was happy to get new ones. Unfortunately when I tried to cut the heaviest chain with the included cutter it was obvious that there was no way that this was going to happen. I did manage to open a loop on the chain with the included tools so that would be one way to get a piece of chain of the desired length. A better way would be to use memory wire cutters if you have them.I also had a problem with the chain nose pliers There are ridges on the ends of the prongs (I don't know what the correct word is for the ends of the pliers that do the gripping.). If you were to use these pliers to hold onto a chain (or jump ring, or anything else that is metal) these ridges would scratch the metal. I don't think these particular pliers will be useful for my jewelry making.I bought this chain collection for the chain itself, not for the tools. The chain is bright gold and attractive. I will definitely find many uses for this chain when making jewelry. There are enough different styles included to meet almost any need that I might have for gold chain.A final question that I have is how well this chain will stand up long term. Will it keep its pretty gold color or will it tarnish. It's much too soon to know this. I will try to do a follow-up review a few months from now.

These are the worst plyers I’ve ever used. No matter how hard I press down it will not cut the chain.

Everything looks great but I’m missing the jump rings to actually attach charms to the chains. I’m pretty disappointed in that because I don’t have time to return it and get another package with jump rings, and I’ll have to go out and buy them myself.
