Expensive, but if you need it then you need it. This thing is very well-made, with high-quality steel. If you have to have this to do a job then you already know what this is. My recommendation, buy once, cry once. The difference in price between this and some lesser quality products isn’t that much. Buying this top quality, necessary tool is worth the stress that it will alleviate. Great product!

This tool was a perfect fit for the spindle-nuts on the front of my 2002 Suzuki Grand Vitara. The hardened pins fit the round holes in the nut, and easily allowed me to achieve 160 ft-lbs torque on the spindle-nut without any rocking or wobble. The tool is sufficiently deep that there is no interference with the spindle, nor with the axle-shaft - you can just leave the axle C-clip and washer in place while using this tool. Some other tools feature a protruding hex-drive on the end, requiring you to use a socket on your wrench. To me, this adds un-necessary offset and slop. In contrast, this MotoFab tool has a 1/2" square hole for your wrench to fit directly - less offset from the nut when tightening, no "middleman" socket, and a solid feel when tightening. I only wish the previous owner of my GV had one of these... then, he wouldn't have had to use a hammer-and-punch.
