Best shoes for really swollen feet!
My husband has very swollen feet, finding a shoe to fit is almost impossible, but these are the very best we've found, they stay on, they are comfortable and look good too!

Comfortable shoes easy to put on.
Easy to put my moms feet in and she can slip them on herself and they are comfortable.

These shoes are awesome. Very comfortable but they also stay on your feet
Some of these larger shoes for swollen feet. I find they go off my foot a lot. Not these. Very pleased with them.

My Dad liked them
His feet have been swollen lately and it’s hard to find a slipper that can actually fit a foot whether it’s swollen or not swollen. The Velcro makes it very easy to fit his foot especially the strap in back to keep his foot from sliding out.

If You have Diabetic Swelling These are Perfect!
My father in law was coming home from the rehab nursing facility with severe swelling due to his diabetes. His shoes were fitting and he was cranky about not having anything sturdy for his feet that didn't hurt.My mission was to find something that fit his large feet. Outside of the winter season locally finding a good slipper is difficult at best since anything around is either lightweight or slim pickings due to clearancing them out for spring/summer.So, as per usual I go to Amazon to search. Buying footwear for someone else is not for the faint of heart. Especially when that person is a cantankerous elderly man who has just spent 2 months between the hospital and a rehab facility. Let's be honest nothing was making him happy and nothing was to his liking at this point.I liked that these had a nice solid sole and the adjustability for swelling and low swelling days. They were a hit. He is struggling with walking and spends a lot of time scooting in his wheelchair. They were good for gripping both carpet and smooth flooring. He felt supported enough to stand and walk in them, which is saying a lot for someone who fights us on both of those things. I was able to purchase the size he wanted and have them fit which was a godsend that I didn't have to deal with returning and getting a different size. With that being said he had me order them above his normal show size which I believe he said was 11 and we ordered the 12. Now with the adjustability he may have been able to fit into an 11 (we didn't try, so I don't know for sure), but he wanted a 12 and I just did what I was requested.

Awful, don't fit right
I noticed most of the 5 star reviews are for receiving as a free product. These are terrible, sized incorrectly, and didn't fit ill family member.

Not perfect, but fixable.
First, the positive: Sturdy, more like shoes than slippers. Nice and warm. Heavy duty non-slip soles, good at gripping both hard floors and carpeting. Hook-and-loop closures sewn on the right way, so that the rough hook part will not touch the skin.Negative: For very badly swollen feet, the closure flap over the tongue is not long enough to reach the other side of the instep. Here's how to fix it: purchase a set of "2 x 4 Inch - Hook and Loop Strips with Adhesive." Remove backing from a hook strip and a loop strip, and with adhesive surfaces facing, carefully align one edge, then fasten the two strips together back to back, producing a double-sided closure strip. Use a scissors to round off the corners. Apply this strip to one edge of the shoe's instep closure, then attach the other edge of the shoe closure to the other edge of the strip. This should enlarge the vamp of the shoe enough for a badly swollen foot. Depending on the extent of the swelling, another strip may be needed to refine the fit of the shoe.If the user cannot bend down to reach the feet, the closure at the back of the heel will need to be adjusted to a more loose position, and then an extra long shoe horn can be used to get the foot into the shoe.If the user has a helper available for assistance with dressing, the helping person can adjust the vamp more snugly. By means of regular readjustments, the vamp can be tightened enough to help compress the foot and reduce some of the swelling.Always inspect the feet carefully to ensure that there are no excessive pressure points that could damage the skin.

Pros and cons
This was purchased for my late grandfather who in the end experience significant swelling in his feet and legs. We needed something adjustable, comfortable, and non slip for safety. This product almost fit the bill. 5 stars for comfort! 5 stars for the adjustable features for the back and the top of the foot! The issue: it was almost TOO non-slip. If his foot dragged even the slightest, (which it did often due to numbness and motor issues) the non slip bottom would catch and suddenly stop, causing him to fall. Maybe a bit of wear would have improved this, or perhaps a quick wash and dry, but unfortunately he didn’t have them long enough to find out. Just consider the non slip issue when purchasing.

They are the only footwear that fits
My husband loves his so much, he bought 2 pairs. Even with the adjustable flap he dtill needs a compression sleeve to shrink his feet enough to get these on, but they are comfortable and I saw another person with them on at the heart institut. He really likes them!
