Waterproof enough to backpack 80 miles with no issues.
Great bag for backpacking. Used this on an 80 mile loop through the great smoky mountains. Had to deal with many many stream crossings, including one where I fell in with my bag. Kept my clothes clean and nice and dry. Would buy again but thsi one will likely last me a long time.

Failed after minor use
The first few times I used this bag I loved it. It's very thin, lightweight, and the perfect size for keeping small items dry on a kayak, SUP, raft. It compresses nicely so that it's not huge when you've only partially filled it.Then this weekend I took it out on the water and halfway through the trip I realized that everything in the bag was soaked. The top of the bag was never in the water, so it clearly leaked through a seam somewhere. Luckily my phone was water resistant enough not to be damaged. I'm just glad I didn't have my camera in there. I'm very disappointed that the bag has failed after only a handful of uses. I've filed a warranty claim with OR and will update when I hear back. Sorry to say I can't recommend this product.

... hard to compress as it doesn't let air out easily. I bought it as kind of a backup ...
As far as I know it keeps things dry but at the same time it's very hard to compress as it doesn't let air out easily. I bought it as kind of a backup to fit random stuff but it does much better with something that fills it completely like a sleeping bag or puffy jacket. Not great for odds and ends...it doesn't pack down very well if its not full.

Great small stuffsack for clothes
Great stuff sack for some clothes during backpacking trips. I can generally fit 2-3 extra sets of synthetic underwear/shirts, socks, and a down jacket without any issue. I haven't submerged the bag to test its true waterproofness, but liquids have been spilled on it, and it shows no signs of water leaking in.
