I thought I bought a meditation cd

I knew I was going to enjoy this cd, since I love everything I've read, heard or seen by Abraham/Esther. I listened to this in the car and barely realized that time had passed, getting so engrossed in the words and music. I look forward to listening to it again and again, both for quieter times, and to keep me company in the car.It reinforces their other works, whatever the medium. I always look forward to seeing new books/cds/dvds because of their words of wisdom and sense of humor. I have so many "aha" moments. I'm going to one of their seminars w/my husband shortly and look forward to more of the repetition that is necessary to really "get" all this stuff, as well as new information to help me get in sync with my vibration. This cd is well worth the money.

I don't think I have ever written a review. But, I love the cd so much that I felt compelled to do so. I bought this several weeks ago, and I have listened to it almost every day since I bought it. It is definitely a mood lifter that you can jam out to. Its almost like an upbeat meditation cd, but without the sleepy side effects. It really does get me into a happier frame of mind. Just yesterday, I had gotten some disappointing news, and couldn't shake the "down in the dumps" feel. I put this cd on, and it really helped me pull myself out of that funk. Many of the songs have an up beat techno feel. If you are an Abraham-Hicks fan, you will enjoy this.

I've read most of the Hicks' books and watched many of their videos, and I've never been disappointed with any of their products. This CD, however, is not at all what I expected. The music and 'lyrics' just don't seem to blend well. I expected a soft, relaxing piece of music with Esther speaking the wise words of Abraham in a soothing manner.What you get is short excerpts taken from live presentations and pieced together, then set to music that is no stretch of the imagination soothing. Then the words are repeated in part, over and over again...after awhile, it just annoyed me.If I had heard the CD before I bought it, I would not have even considered buying it. I'm unlikely to ever listen to it again.Of course, it's a matter of taste...and you may LOVE this CD. If at all possible, listen before you buy.

I listen to this music every morning while riding the bus to work. It sets up my day to be one of joyous connection with everyone I encounter. This is the best medicine ever created and it will move you up the vibrational scale every time you listen. It never gets old and it always has a positive and enlightening influence. The combination of music and Abraham's words is dynamic and thrilling.Want to feel good? Want to be happy? Want to be free? Listen to this!

OMG I LOVE TRACK 2.. Bouncing Off Place - I am smiling right now just thinking about listening to it. It makes me smile and laugh even at my worst times... It sounds like a bunch of electronic dolphins saying "Weeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!" and that's how it makes me feel!! .... You can't listen to this one and not feel good.

I own many Abraham books, DVDs and CDs including the excellent  Getting Into The Vortex: Guided Meditations CD and User Guide  and was expecting something along the same lines as this or something like the brainwave electronic sounds CDs of Tom Kenyon or the brainwave music of Jeffrey Thompson which are based on scientific studies of higher states of consciousness. For instance, the brain states of Buddhist monks in meditation have been studied and these brainwave CDs are programmed to induce similar brain patterns in listeners to help achieve higher states of consciousness. These are true 'leading edge vibrational music' works.Rather than any of the above, I was very disappointed to hear the awful music on this CD accompanied with badly blended and repetitious excerpts from old Abraham quotes. There is no new Abraham material here, and the music is more appropriate for a psychedelic disco club or such activities as running or driving at speed, and I use much better works when doing those types of things. This seems like a badly done attempt to produce something striving to become commercially popular.I personally own and like most types of music when the setting is appropriate but I think this CD music is awful in any context and must agree with other reviewers who find this work to be quite annoying and report getting headaches rather than feel-good blissful enlightenment.We are each unique and have different tastes, opinions, needs and expectations so my advice to anyone thinking of buying this would be to first listen to samples on the Abraham-Hicks web site and see if you like it. That's what I should have done if I'd thought about it before hand but will now return this to Amazon.

I received this CD expecting it to be inspirational and uplifting, with many words of encouragement and advise. In fact I found it to be quite annoying and very repetitive!Every track was the same as the last and I did not find it engaging at all!I have listened to 'The Secret' soundtrack many many times and still find it to be, engaging, inspirational, motivating and encouraging.

Like all things from Abraham - this is done just wonderfully. Love listening to it in the car - the music is nice and the words and sound of Esthers voice is just beautiful - Can truly recommend!!!

Diese CD läßt keinen Wunsch übrig . Eingängige Technomusik , mit Focus auf die Kernaussagen von Abraham .So trendy hatte ich mir die Musik gar nicht vorgestellt !Ich höre sie regelmäßig und sie wird mir auch nicht langweilig , ein durch und durch gelungenes Produkt.Wenn ich könnte würde ich 10 Sterne geben , aber ich liebe auch einfach Jerry und Esther Hicks !!
