It's not real leather and it's lined with felt on the inside for some reason.

I love this thing. Seems to be decent construction, attaches to my fire kit.

Advertised as "Leather", this is thin cloth that has been ran through a machine called a Calendar the presses a plastic/rubber like substance into one side of the cloth and leaving a leather texture in the process. I know, I used run one of these machines. This is, plainly put, FRAUD!

Fool me once...cheap lined leather?? Thin as paper maybe faux pleather? Buy a piece of leather take a large pot, draw a circle punch holes lace with leather shoelaces. Done. Yours likely will outlast this one by 10 years. I thought it would be cool. It was wasted money. Cute change purse for some Christmas gift maybe.
