The water in Nashville TN is terrible! I added a filtering system to the dishwasher hot water line because our dishes weren’t getting clean. These filters resolved that problem! After changing the filter, I cut open the used filter to see inside and was both disgusted and amazed! The black slime trapped inside was repulsive! So glad that didn’t end up on our dishes!

After initial anger over quality concerns of this product, I tried the name brand. While my filters used to last longer, even the high quality brand is suffering now. I can only presume that my water has more minerals than in the past. I'm back to buying these. They're cheaper and almost as good.

I found this product to work fine for my filtrate filter that I was unable to find. It was a little hard to get it on at first but then all of a sudden it went on and it is fine. No leaks. I would recommend this filter to anyone needing a replacement. The price was right.

Held off for a month on this review, so I could give an honest assessment. Very little product knowledge in Ad so was looking for a cheaper alternative to my 3US-PF01) FILTRETE UNDER SINK ADVANCED REPLACEMENT W. FILTER.3 for 1 worth a try...These turned out to be a third smaller in depth and contain a charcoal and coconut shavings to act as the filter. It also rattles when you shake it. So first impression was bad choice! Fitted first time ran the usual 10 litres out. Water flow much stronger than when Filtrete filter in. So suggests not filtering as hard under pressure. Here in Western Australia our water is now 50% seawater desalination so chlorine smell to me is quite high. Tasted filtered water against my non filtered cold tap. Chlorine definitely reduced but left a small bitter after taste in my mouth, cannot answer if this is filtering down to 0.5 microns? Nothing on the packet. A month later not enjoying the taste. This is a big company that deals a lot in refrigeration filters not so sure of these tap water filters. Have no scientific data to back my taste buds so just my opinion.
