No batteries needed, brill!
Great fun, and I love the fact that you don't need batteries or have to cock the gun in between shots. I know that the age recommendation is 14+ but if you are thinking of getting this for smaller hands it was a little tricky for my 6 year old to pull the trigger, but he could manage it with two hands. It comes as a set with 2 guns and two sets of eye protector goggles and 300 bullets (no I didn't count them i'm afraid...)The bullets are pre-soaked so you do not need to hydrate them. It is a bit of a nightmare trying to collect them after shooting and some of them disintegrate on impact so you will have to buy some more but you can buy huge amounts here on amazon that you soak in water for 4 hours that do not cost too much. The bullets fly quite far and it is reasonably accurate, they have been added to our armoury of Nurf guns which we take to the park for a bit of fun and will be a welcome addition.

Good fun
These are not your typical Nerf guns. They are little pellets instead. These need to be soaked in water for a while so that they swell in size to be used. But then you can blast until your heart is content.Still not the easiest thing for younger children to actually use so be aware with younger siblings because you will need to get it ready for them. Overall quite fun for the garden, and there is no worry that you will lose your darts over the garden fence.

Lots of fun
Great fun for everyone, different design than other gel blasters on the market. The gel balls sit neatly in the top of the blaster making the fun look sleek and stylishRapid fire makes it easy to hit targetsGreat value would recommend.

Disappointed
I had high hopes for these and was left feeling disappointed. My 9 year old thought they were great, so I wonder if I expected too much. For me, the beauty of nerf was that the darts shot out and flew impressively, more impressively than you would expect, going quickly and far. Loading the gel was fine, but you do have to realise how wet these things are. As these guns load and shoot in one trigger pull, there is no priming needed. In reality, I successfully shot maybe 3 out of 10 well? The rest of the time, nothing came out, or a little splurge of water shot out. You were never really clear whether the gel bullets were coming out. They are harder to see than a blue nerf dart. Of course, I got my kid to shoot me with one, testing if it hurt. On my palm, about 3 feet away, it was fine, didn't hurt at all. On my leg, it definitely stung a little. Comes with two pairs of safety specs, which I think is great, and the kids must be encouraged to use them. The gel balls seem to split in two after hitting a wall, and I'm assuming they will bio degrade into nothingness? Anyway, with a fire rate of 30%, not being able to really see the ammo firing, the trouble of keeping the ammo wet (I mean what do you do with half a bag of wet ammo), I'm just not impressed. Think nerf darts are much, much better.
