Intriguing new spin to the supernatural world
This book has sat on my Kindle for a while, I was a fan of the authors other series so when this came out I bought it but never got around to it. Book 2 is due for release so I figured I'd give it a go, I wasn't disappointed. We all know the tale of the sandman, coming at night to weave dreams for all the boys and girls. This book takes that tale to a new level, Dair. His mission is to weave dreams that influence the destiny of people who will make a difference in the world and that all goes great until he meets Serenity. Destinies collides fate intervenes and evil shows its face. This is a great new twist to the supernatural world, angels, demons and dream weavers unique new characters and plots. I look forward to the next book.

Surpisingly enjoyable
I downloaded this book because I needed an author with a first name that starts with the letter Q for a reading challenge. What a surprise to find that this 64 year old atheist really enjoyed this book aimed at teens. It's got a strong Christian / spiritual theme of morality, family, faithfulness and saving your virginity for 'the one' running through the whole book. But not the whole download - the story finishes on 86% and I always feel as though I have been robbed of an hours reading when that happens. But the story was enjoyable and I shall probably read more in the series. Surprising indeed!

Great read for busy people who love fantasy, enchanting story with a focused plot
I have to say this is the first book by Quinn that I have ever read and I will definitely be buying more. I love the Sandman and this is what initially drew me! I don't have a lot of time to read between work, studying and family. This book was enchanting and exciting and I didn't want to stop reading. I like how the plot is very focused it made it good to put down and pick up again without forgetting things. Yet I still remained enthralled, if possible I wouldn't have put it down at all. I already look forward to part 2!

Not Quinn Loftis best work
I loved the Grey Wolves series and I am enjoying Gypsy Healers Series, but I did not like this book. I found it hard work to get through. It only got interesting at 79% and the book finished at 85%. It was not all bad. The individual characters were okay. The Sandman was an interesting character and was developing quite nicely. I wasn't overly keen on Serenity and I really can't put my finger on why. I also really liked some of the other characters and their interaction with other characters, such as the guardian angel and the little girl. I loved the little girl's strength and wisdom. The story was just too slow moving. I must admit I read a couple of books in between reading this book, because it did not hold my interest. I will try the next one in the series, just to see if it improves. I would not recommend this book even if you are a fan of Quinn Loftis, which I am.

Surprising
Though this book traverses many of the sane themes seen in many paranormal romance novels. It has given it an interesting twist. And it did succeed in drawing me in. It is only 3 star as i am curious to see how the series pans out
