ASUSVivobook Touchscreen X1504VA 15.6" Full HD Touchscreen Laptop (Intel i7-1355U, 16GB RAM, 512GB PCIe SSD, Windows 11)

Very pleased with the overall appearance of this “renewed” laptop. It looked as if it had been taken out of packaging and put back, no marks or scratches. It was running Windows 11 with most of the updates done, but reset to new user so no problems there. I was beginning to think it may not of been switched on but on registering the warranty I got the “This product has already been registered” as I expected this it no real problem as I am covered by the Amazon warranty.The speed of the machine is super quick with a really good quality feel to it, the only criticism of case is that it does finger mark easily (quick wipe and there gone) can make it look grubby. Graphics are sharp and fast along with the sound card that has good stereo separation makes movies entertaining. Haven’t used it for gaming yet so can’t comment yet but if it lives up to the movies it should be good.Overall an excellent buy especially with over £100 savings on paying for a brand new version. Would always recommend having a look at Amazon renewed deals, they are so well worth it. And don’t forget you can always return within 30 if it doesn’t live up to expectations.

I got the ASUS Vivobook 15 OLED for my school colleague, and he absolutely loves it! The 15.6" OLED screen is super vibrant, making it perfect for both schoolwork and watching movies. So far so good. This review is for the Asus Vivobook15x1504VA (silver) with i5 processor and 16gb Ram. It's well built. Internal speakers are ok but sound is better through headphones or external speakers. It's fast enough for most everyday tasks - but I had to set to High Power Plan for it to be working at max CPU instead of the 'energy efficient' setting which it installs with. It comes with Windows 11 which I didn't want (because of some of its quirky features) but nevertheless it sets up easy enough and I'm now learning to live with those quirky features. Battery life seems pretty good. The reason for only 4 stars is that the viewing angle of the screen is quite limited so as to view with best brightness and contrast and I also wish that there was the ability to increase the contrast as there seems to be only the facility to adjust the brightness. I also wish it came with a backlit keyboard but finding a laptop with this spec and at this price with such a keyboard is impossible. The keyboard itself feels nice to type on and its nice to have the separate numeric keypad. All-in-all I like it and the price was right when I bought it (and even happier that I could spread the payments over five months, interest free, through Amazon.

I bought this at £499, in a few days the price has increased by £80! ( tariff knock on maybe). Even so this is an excellent spec for the price, super sharp oled screen, i5 processor, 16gb ram, 1tb ssd drive. I knew it was a bargain when I saw it for a local committee i am part of, and now kicking myself I didn’t buy one for myself as well. Out of the box it needed the usual time wasting windows updates so spent about an hour doing that, then discovered that the trackpad was not working. Did some online research and found it needed an Asus firmware update which fixed the problem. I still give it 5 stars because this was a steal at the price and out of the box updates are a necessity. The oled screen is just beautiful, its fast and im sure for the general day to day use it will receive it will be perfect. Not bought as a gaming machine so not sure of the graphics capabilities.

Bought this for my daughter to help prepare for her A-level exams, she got 2 As and a B... Now it's perfect for her degree work.Seems like a reliable little machine
