Holds a phone in a minimal-moderate case very well and makes it easy to drop the phone in place or remove it one-handed. Might not securely hold a phone in a thick case like an Otterbox.Holds onto the car vent well. However, be aware: Unlike some car vent brackets, this one does not have a hook to capture the back side of a vent blade - it relies solely on a strong spring squeezing the vent blade to grip it and stay in place. As a result, it took a lot of hand grip strength to squeeze the button that opens the clamp long enough to position it on the vent blade.When the phone is not in place this holder collapses into a shape that does not block much of the airflow from the vent. Is mostly plastic construction. Works well, but priced a little high for its materials. I think I'd recommend looking for one with metal construction and a hook, but if that doesn't bother you, this will work.

This mount is very easy to install, although the clamp force is a bit strong. Holds any phone well in place with its design and the silicone pad. Tested with S22 ultra in a 2018 BMW M3, and 2014 Infinity QX80 with iPhone 13.
