Easy way to add extra remote switch to existing 3 way
This combo can be used to turn an existing single pole switch into 3 way setup, or to add any extra remote switches into an existing 3 way switch wiring. Pros: - affordable, compared to the big name brand like Lutron or Leviton - very easy installation - wireless so very stable, and no dependency on WiFi which could have signal issues - very extensible for 1-to-many, or many-to-1 setup. This brand setup can be extended to multiple numbers of remote switches to control the same device/receiver(many to 1) from multiple locations, or for a single remote switch to be programmed to control multiple numbet of devices/receivers(1-to-many) - no need to run new wires for traveler/multi switch wiring - this wall switch(receiver) fits into any standard in wall conduit ot wall plate!! - the remote switch(es) can be easily placed anywhere. No wiring is required Cons: - the remote is thicker than normal switches - Does not fit standard wall plate or any existing standard conduit or 2/3/4 gang wall plate This combo is great for my use: change a light switch as part of a 4 gang switch setup to 4-way without adding new wire, and control this same light from 2 other new locations to make it 4-way multi switch setup. 1. Replace that one single pole switch with this new in-wall switch(receiver). This requires neutral white wire. 10 minutes work. 2. Attach the new remote switch in another location. 1 minute. This works immediately with the receiver in #1. Now I have a 3 way switch setup. 3. Buy an extra remote switch for same brand and attach it to another location. Spend 30 seconds to program and pair this new extra remote with the #1 in wall switch/receiver. This is so simple. Now I have a 4 way switch setup. Only drawback is the remote switches cannot be combined into any existing 2 gang wall plate setup.

Works fine as a 3 way or 4 way setup
The descriptive stuff on Amazon is pretty vague but this set-up will work with the additional remote switch if you can locate it within Amazon so you can make a 4 way setup. Installation is about the same as any switch replacing device be it dimmer, motion sensing or anything else. The black wire goes to the hot wire, probably black, that was on the existing switch. The red wire goes to the wire that goes to your fixture. The white wire connects to the neutral, also white. The neutral provides completion of the circuit providing the power to operate the internal electronics of this multi switch. The remotes use the tiny number 23 12 volt batteries you find in garage door opener keypads. And the info I found says they work on rolling codes like garage door remotes. Apparently that allows multiple switch sets to operate in the same house. The instructions are pretty vague and cover all their different models on one small sheet. Bit if you've ever installed anything similar to this it's fairly easy. Out of the box the main and remote work fine together. To include the additional optional remote I had to clear the original pairing and then pair both remotes. They say to look for the flashing LED but this one has no LED. At least mine doesn't. Once paired the two remotes work fine with the master switch. In my case I can operate the overhead lights in the kitchen from the front door, back door or the kitchen itself. Next is to install the set for the hallway and hope the two systems don't interfere with each other. So far I'm happy with it. And I just realized I need another remote so I can operate the kitchen from the far end of the hallway. A five way. Thatcwould bexall kinds of fun with actual wiring!

Works great!
This was SO much easier than running wiring I would have had to run for a complicated 3 way. You do need a neutral line in the box. So I just brought all the neutrals in and bonded them all. And it is a little snug with all the connections so install a nice deep switch box. But with the deep box I was able to easily make the connections. The wireless remote works perfectly. Can be installed anywhere. I used Velcro and put it on the fridge next to stove. And this switch is programmable so it can be programmed in to this company come line of other products easily. No WiFi needed! What really pleased me is it came with good high quality wire nuts that were properly sized. Often products like this come with cheap wire nuts that are either too small or useless. But these were perfect and u used all 4. Made the job much easier.

Revolutionary Wireless Light Switch - A Game Changer for DIY!
Wow, these SURAIELEC 3 Way Wireless Light Switches are truly great and have made a significant difference in my shop! The most impressive aspect is how much easier they are to install compared to traditional wiring, completely eliminating the need to run Romex, which is a huge time and effort saver for any DIYer. I'm so pleased, I would definitely buy them again. I installed a pair in my shop, and they work perfectly. The 100ft RF range is excellent, easily penetrating walls to provide reliable control. The fact that they come pre-programmed out of the box was a pleasant surprise, making setup incredibly quick. No need for complex wiring or struggling with WiFi configurations โ they just work seamlessly. The ability to expand the system with more switches or receivers is also a fantastic feature for future projects. If you've ever found yourself needing a light switch in a location where running new wires is a daunting task, these wireless switches are absolutely worth every penny. They offer a flexible, high-power solution that makes adding convenience to your home or workspace incredibly simple. A definite 5-star product!

Easy install and great options without wires
FIrst off this is not a "smart switch" so you don't need wifi or an app to set it up. The wiring is just like a normal switch on one end. You will want to make sure that you have power, neutral and ground to the switch box instead of just a switched leg (power at the light fixture instead of to the switch box with just a two wire drop to the switch). The remote switch is just a battery switch that mounts anywhere on the wall surface. I used this in my garage where we added a door to the exterior but the light switch was at the door from the house to the garage. Rewiring to add a wired 3 way was not an option. This solution was simple and works great.

Wireless 3-way Solution!
Our home has a dark hallway with the light switch at one end. For whatever reason, we did not notice this in the walk-through as it was daytime and we didn't notice the need for a second switch at the other end of the hallway. This is the perfect solution. The cost was right and the installation a breeze. I just removed the old on-off switch the builder had installed, put this replacement in it's place and then mounted the remote at the other end of the hall. Both switches match in appearance. The remote uses an included battery for power. Press either switch on the top and the hall lights come on; press either switch on the bottom half and the hall lights go off. The perfect way to have a three way control without having to run wires to the second switch. The included instructions are clear, it takes no set-up for the connectivity. It just works.

For when you want to control a light from a second location too. Works great!
My back deck was built with one light and one switch and I finally got tired of wanting a 3-way. Found this. Perfect--replace the existing switch--drop in and wire it up (Hire someone if you don't know how) and now it's a 3-way. It fits in the same space more or less as the switch. If I had a complaint, the remote switch throw is pretty short, so tactile impressing is less that I'd like, but so far (~1 mo) I'm happy with it.

Poor Quality
The switch that I received was very poor quality. It is barely able to toggle on, it was potentially defective. Also the 18AWG wire smaller than recommended for a 15 amp switch.

Great product.
Works great. Solved a problem area in my house and I installed it myself. Couldn't get any local electricians to install the traditional wired 3 way circuit. Three notes for potential buyers: (1) if you can, use a deeper than normal metal box to hold it. It'll fit in a regular box but it's tight. (2) the on/off button needs a firmer press to make it work as compared to normal switches (3) compared to normal 3 way switches, these switches always have on and off in the same position. Up is on, down is off. Make sure you install both switches to this configuration, they're really plates with 2 buttons under the switch rather than the typical rocker style switch. Reversing one of the units may make you think it's not working. Best thing is the "remote" switch can be installed anywhere. For me there was no convenient location for a traditional switchbox. This product allowed me to put it exactly where it's most useful (on the side of a cupboard).

An easy to use product that works well with other items from the same manufacturer!
I am very pleased so far with the Suraielec switches and remotes I have purchased. They work well, are very easy to program, and unlike some products here are interoperable (so one can use a single controller to control different devices and/or have one device controlled by multiple controllers. So far this has worked seamlessly and with different products from this same maker.

So far so good
Its a nice unit and works well, down is for off and up is for on only which is different from the other brands. The range seems alright but I'm only using it like 30ft away. If you click on and off with these sometimes it gets confused and wont turn on and off so have to keep it slow. The base is quite bulky and the wires are not stripped enough to install without stripping more. The wireless switch wont fit into regular panels which is a shame, would have been nice if you have a 3 switch panel to add it in there for example.

Works good for 3 meters distance
I used it for our kitchen light. The distance between two switches is around 3 meters (10 feet) and it work very good.
