Easy to set up, works well enough

I've purchased lots of Lifeline products after I found out about them when searching for TRX bands. They are half the price and the quality is just as good, plus they sell so many different items.This is a good product and I highly recommend for a home gym.

Bought the door kit, but mounted using removable links and wall anchors, so can use on travel. Another useful , well-made Lifeline item. Swimmers, resisted sprints, russian twists and more high intensity exercises are now easily available in my basement. Glad I got to learn the movements at Monkey Bar Gym in Madison WI, as the DVD shipped with it didn't work. Still, you can go through MBG workout video (monkeybargym.com) to learn how to use it. This is also used daily by two in the household recovering from 1.) old knee issues and 2.)broken leg. Prescribed PT exercises are now easier to arrange , Thera-Bands clip nicely into the holders. Also useful for el-cheapo pilates machine, almost.

This product is good enough for a very light workout, but is nothing compared to a real gym.For reference, I had been doing the same shoulder symmetry moves on these bands (single red) every morning for about three weeks. My the muscles in my arms never got sore from this. Just a bit of heat built up in my shoulders. Then I go to a gym and find some cable pulleys and put on ten pounds and do the same shoulder workout. I was sore. So what I thought was building up strength and resilience really wasn't doing anything. I feel like I'm better off going to a gym and using some real weights.That being said, the band's never snapped or broke and the handles are quite nice. Simple and easy to install.

The company advertises the item comes with training video but all they have is two exercises.You can do a lot without this product and only need one band instead of two that this requires.

This product gives you two complete sets for BOD 9WCF. I think Beach Body copied this concept and just used one track.Don't waste your money on the BOD equipment. It is inferior and more expensive to this track system and the other needed products for 9WCF that I will mention below.Buy this and give the other half of the anchor system to a friend. This product is better quality and more durable.Also, buy the Live Infinitely ball and the SPRI Braided resistance bands here on Amazon.I believe the Tone Fitness step platform on Amazon is the same as BOD's without the name branding.The ball here on Amazon is easier to control and looks more like the ball used in the program rather than the harder ball I received from BOD.The SPRI Braided bands are the best quality bands I've ever used. I bought yellow, then green, then red. Now I'm using the blue. I will at some point purchase the purple. I've noticed that the pricing changes on Amazon so just watch for the bands to reduce in price and then buy them. If you've used resistance bands in the past you could skip level 1 and maybe even level 2.I bought this durable anchor track for a friend at Walmart because it was cheaper at the time so my review won't show verified purchase. I looked at her door after 7 weeks of use and did not see any damage.Also, I never used the bands that came with this kit so I can't review them. It also comes with a leg anchor that I haven't used yet.I'm a 48 year old female at an intermediate fitness level. I completed the 21 day fix Fitness program and moved on to this. If you want to do resistance band training, I think this is your best choice. If you're an athlete or at an advanced fitness level, I'm not sure if this would work for you.I wrote this review because I know people are looking for alternative equipment to do the Beach Body 9 Week Control Freak.Finally, I want to talk about the manufacturer. My sister bought this kit too. When it arrived only half of the system was in the box. It looked like somebody took one complete anchor system out for their door and returned it.She called the manufacturer and within just a few days they has sent the missing parts. They have outstanding customer service.
