After two days the stitching on the straps came out of both harnesses...thank goodness I know how to use a sewing machine. This does not take away from the safety features I bought this for. I have 2 Level 3 non-verbal autistic boys, both would get out of every car seat known to man...WHILE I'M DRIVING. Even with the stitching that came out, they did their jobs and continue doing so. My son's can't get through the buttons/clips/and velcro w/seat belt. Like I said, stitching is a failure on the strap to strap parts but it didn't stop it from doing it's job.

Did not fit correctly for my child. He wasn’t secured in the vest. The fit was too loose. The straps weren’t long enough for me to secure it properly.

I was skeptical but had to try it. We have a 5yo special needs daughter who kept slipping out of her harness of her car seat so we needed to find something that would stay in place. I fumbled with it the first few times strapping her in some is a few steps and involves the seat belt but after a few times it's second nature. I plan on buying one for my car.

I got this with airline travel in mind, but realized after getting it that it may benefit us to use it as a "leash" when we are in busy areas and need a bit extra control with an excited but naive toddler. We can use this on a plane for a bit of security on the extra long flights, and in situations in other countries where child seats are not available or actually quite uncommon (yes, life outside of the U.S.A. is not the ideal state many think it is). So, you can use to to let your toddler walk "freely" at but with the benefit of being able to pull them back on the leash if you need for safety. If you are on very long airline flights, this will allow you to strap them in with a bit more safety and peace of mind so that you too can take a nap.

I was looking for a travel car seat for my twins and this vest car seat was an ideal product. With this vest, I may not need to bring bulky car seats when I travel around with my twins. The concept of this product was exactly I was looking for, but sadly, it seems like this vest is not FMVSS 213 certified, which means it may not be legal to use in US. This is only reason I have to return this product.
