I need this for a medical simulation. Can I make a hole in it easily?

I think it would be easy enough with a heavy duty box cutter.

Need it to display some lightweight jackets; does the lack of a back make them slump, or do the shoulders keep the jacket upright and looking normal?

Since it is only half a mannequin I use a clip in the back to so that it doesn’t slump forward so to speak and it works well

This torso is absolutely sturdy and functional, made of thick, grippy, matte-surfaced plastic, and it makes a WORLD of difference for displaying mens' shirts. I sell vintage clothing, and up until now I've struggled to attractively stage mens' shirts. They look like a blob on a hanger, they look OK spread out on the ground except I don't like to do that because to me it looks "lazy", and on a female mannequin bust, they look like they're for a woman, not a man. So this torso is the answer! If you are questioning your need for this, if you display or stage mens' clothing for sale, question no further. You need it.
