How would I clean the inside of the bulb?

Use a small cup filled with antibacterial soap & hot water, squeeze bulb, discard water do this several time then use clean hot water to rinse...then air dry.

Is the tip just a flat cut so there is an edge or is it rounded?

I honestly don’t remember the specifically the tips of them looked like because the ones I got the tips were bent/curled to the side so I had to return them. I didn’t feel like they would be effective to get the snot out of my child’s nose. They were very soft though so I wasn’t concerned about them hurting him, I just didn’t know if they would get the snot up his nose with it being bent to the side and I’m sure them being a soft as they are is why they were able to curl/bend.

will these work as a pocket douche syringe when I am out tramping it around?

I think they are too small to hold enough fluid to do that job? But since I’m a man, I’m not sure how that process works :-)
