Q: why does temperature readout default to celcious from fahrt after turning back on

Since the multimeter doesn’t have a power-down memory function, when it is turned off, the temperature mode will return to default mode Celsius. I am afraid you have to reset the temperature to Fahrenheit each time you restart it. Sorry for any inconvenience.
