Great phone mount
Very well made works extremely well like all their products

Nice, simple design
A couple of other reviews raised concern about slippage of the position adjustments. On the unit I received, this is not a problem - the joints are easily adjustable, but fairly tight, at least for now. I don't see slippage with an iPhone 16 Pro Max (in a case). Pulling open the spring-loaded clamp requires considerable force, when mounting a large phone. The way I do it: use one edge of the phone to push the extendable part open until the bottom edge clears the stationary part. One other thing to note: there is a 1/4" threaded hole for tripod mounting, but there is no 3/8" threaded hole.

this is a decent little phone holder. all cast aluminum build but there is a little play where it tightens down. could just be the one I got as I gont have a second one to compare to, but I wish that was fixed

Phone holder
Got this for a tripod muont for filming kids hunting. Worked great, easy setup and design, lite weight, quality and for the price get 2 cause it's value is there.

Loose joints and too tight on iPhone
The joints are too loose and there is no way to tighten them. The grip on the phone is too tight, it seems to have been made for a much thinner phone

Too much play in the mechanism.
The media could not be loaded. Despite the luxury of being able to rotate one's phone 90°, there is no way to physically lock the mount. That matters because there's enough play in the mechanism to where the phone can slowly over time lean slightly left or right, which I found out in post production for a video, which is not good.I would much prefer a mechanism that has a physical lock so there is zero play when I rotate my phone.

Phone holder
This is my second purchase of this item. Holds my iPhone 14 Pro Max easy. Great holding strength and very sturdy. Great purchase for a phone holding action setup for cars.
