Good quality for my 3 year old grandson who is obsessed with cars.

Worth the money. Grandson loves all his fire trucks.

This is a nice size truck for children, but I wonder just how durable some of the thin plastic parts such as the rear view mirrors and the bed rails will be over time. I do like the pump-operated boom for lifting the logs, but I was disappointed that the claw at the end of the boom could not go low enough to pick up logs off the ground (see photo). This fact is disguised in the short video clip of logs magically being loaded into the bed of the truck. I guess small children probably won't notice. The only operating lights on the truck are the emergency beacons on the top of the cab which flash when the yellow buttons on the cab are pressed. This also results in a 10 second blast of noise. Power for the lights and sounds is provided by 3 small LR44 batteries which are included and already installed.The log truck was described as "farm truck" in the Amazon listing, which was a little confusing.

My grand boy is a fire truck expert and this is the latest addition to his fleet. He loves the working hose the most! The toy is well constructed and works as advertised. Good value for 5 year old fire truck enthusiasts and the grown ups who love them.

This is a review of the tow truck version for $35.99 at the time of the review.Initially, just be careful what you are buying and pay attention. The images and model we saw when we ordered was a logging truck with a crane. It did say tow truck in the order, but showed a different model of the farm truck. However, once we received it, it was the tow truck. Kind of a let down for an almost-$40 toy.The toy itself is made alright. It has something pretty unique with the air pump system, which is pretty cool. You can pump the toy up to lift the ramp, then there is a release. That's awesome, unique, and proving to be fun for our toddler.That said, the car it comes with is basic. The truck itself is alright, but I fear some pieces may break off because it is not super-well made. The sounds are loud and alright, but a little -- off? Not like your Hess truck's sounds. The lights are also pretty basic.It's a fine $15 toy, but it's not a $35.99 toy. I would also only use with an older toddler too for fear that it could break off pieces.
