cuts the thinest tomatoes slices ever, pair that with a thin slice of onion and you got a sandwich. this is my 2nd, first lasted 10 plus years, dishwasher safe, stays sharp. fits great in our hands, very comfortable and all. price was almost the same as the first. sent my girls all one for Christmas.

This knife works very well on soft homemade loaves of bread. If your crust is hard or tough, it can be a challenge. I wish the blade was sharper but I love the way it cuts even slices with the adjustable spacer.

Cuts and works like it should

I have made in the 50s that works great with a screw tight knob for thickness. This one for my vacation home was garbage and mangled the slices. The guide is too short and the thickness guide slips out of place.

This product is weird. It looks like the guide is on upside down but it isn't. There are no instructions to explain why you cannot cut a slice of bread all the way through. I had to sift through reviews to find out you have to change your hold on it part way through to raise the handle end up to allow the tip to cut down through the bottom, and even then half the time the bottom of the bread slice breaks off and is caught between the knife and the guide. I am very disappointed in this. I will be keeping it, but I advise others to look for something better even if it costs a lot more.

The blades are adjustable to any thickness. I use it to slice homemade bread all the time.

Cool deli knife to give you perfect even slices

I was not impressed with this knife. It's a bit flimsy, would not cut my (soft) sourdough loaves very well, let alone a tomato. It's now in a drawer somewhere and I'm bummed it didn't perform as I had hoped.
