Fussie Cat Premium Mackerel in Gravy

As most cats love any food with gravy, and will often just snarf up the liquid and leave the protein behind, I don't know what this review is worth, but my Maine Coon loves it. And amazingly, all of it. With any other wet food in gravy, she'll lap up the gravy and let the rest go to waste, but I've served this to her twice now, and was pleasantly surprised that each time she actually ate all the mackerel, too. The mackerel chunks are a generous size, so I find that I have to break it up to get my cat to eat it. Foods that contain high-fat fish like mackerel and salmon are especially recommended for Maine Coons, so I was happy to find this grain-free food to supplement my cat's mostly paté options (had to give up on the other gravy-based foods since she only licked up the gravy). I assumed that Fussie Cat was a "bargain" food, so I was pleased to discover that it's reputed to be a healthy choice for cat food, and contains high-quality, fresh ingredients including real meat, and with a high nutritional value, plus the added benefit of digestive health support. The packets, while not recyclable like aluminum cans, can be handy, especially to put in kitty emergency go-bags. (Though imagine how unpopular you'd be if, in the event of an emergency, you were forced to evacuate to a community shelter, and then busted out this mackerel for your feline companion!) Anyway, given that all cats have different culinary preferences, offering them new foods is always a gamble. But all I can report is that my gravy-loving cat who usually just laps up the liquid and leaves the meat behind actually ate all of this food both times I've served it to her. It always gratifying to make your pets happy, but knowing that you're also providing them with healthy, nutritious food is a definite plus!

Literally the only wet food my fussy cat will eat. Absolutely no other brand.

I have 3 cats and of the 3, only one is fussy. I gave her the Mackerel in Gravy and she sniffed at it for a while, then she dug in and ate the entire meal. It comes in an easy to open pouch and the portion is a good size for most cats. If you look at the picture of my fussy cat KeeBee, you'll see how content she is after eating the Mackerel in Gravy. I was surprised that this was actually more gravy than substance. I used other food to give it wetness, but I won't buy it again.

The chicken seems to have too long of strings for cats to enjoy but they sure LOVE this Mackerel! Crush it up in bag before serving your cats will eat all of it and its very nice of this company to keep it under 10$! thank you very much for helping my cats out with a natural source for cheaper than mainstream foods that were no good for them

Who doesn't really let us close yet. We're trying different treats to get him to trust us, and these yums were one of his faves!!! I hope he'll let us pet him soon!!!

Big bones I had to pick out, and cats had diarrhea after eating. Also didn’t receive item as described, this is a box of only 12 packs and not 48.

I have 2 particular cats, so it's always a roll of the dice. The food in these packets, is larger chunks, & STINKS. I broke it up for them, & they ate like they hadn't been fed in a week, lol
