These are your typical quality bamboo utensils with laser engraving. They are exactly as described. If you're looking for the tried and true “old style” wooden utensils, they aren't made from bamboo and you might be disappointed in this set. Bamboo splinters easier, and that is noted with these – mainly slight splintering on the handle edges. The etching on these is quite good and uniform. One of them is lighter in color than the others but I don't feel that it detracts from the fun of the set and certainly not the function. This set is sure to please any HP fan and encourage whipping up some magical concoctions in the kitchen. I like them a lot and recommend them as a gift or as a special treat for yourself.

I have lots of expensive and high-end utensils, but there's something about a cheap wooden spoon for basic cooking that I love. I broke my favorite $2 spoon from the blue big box store, when i stupidly decided to use it to dislodge a piece of fruit from my juicer. I use, was sad but for $2, you just toss it and move on. I saw this set and thought it looked like it might work as a replacement. The pieces are a shorter, manageable length. They're thin and lightweight. The designs are a cute touch, and they're all decently applied. A couple of the pieces had splintering spots on the handles. The rest of them are okay as far as being smooth. For $18 that's just a few bucks per utensil and that's about what they're worth. They really feel less sturdy than my old wooden spoon and they're definitely not as user friendly due to the splintering. I really wouldn't purchase them again, but they're not the worst I've seen.

These are fun cooking utensils for the Harry Potter fan in your life! I especially like how they have strong edges for moving food around in the pan. I went ahead and threw two in the dishwasher to see how they would hold up (first two on the left in the picture) and you can see that they lost a little bit of color, but that is to be expected. The pictures and quotes from the movie were appreciated by my daughter who loves Harry Potter. Overall, these are holding up well with use and would make a great gift!

I was pleasantly suprised with how deep the engraving is on these! should not wear off if used. but i will be using mine more for decor. great gift for a potter fan!

Love these. They are so creatively made and such great useful utensils! They are really detailed and really would be loved by anyone who appreciates them. They are really very durable to touch but haven’t used them yet, because we kinda like having them as a display at the moment!
