To create a durably tough exterior, Rocky used full-grain leather and 1000 denier nylon (superior strength). A side zipper allows you to easily get these boots on and off. It's covered with a VELCRO; strap. While you're on duty, Alpha Force boots keep your feet safe. They have a composite toe that meets ASTM standards for impact and compression. The boots also meet ASTM F2413-11 Electrical Hazard standards. Although these Alpha Force duty boots have a tough exterior, the Air-Port cushion footbed supports and cushions your feet each time you take a step. It also circulates air within these boots. The RigiTrac outsole won't leave marks, and its slip-resistance helps you keep your balance while on duty. With all of these great features, this Rocky Alpha Force is the right duty boot for you! Whether you're planning a serious wilderness expedition or a hike around town, Rocky is the source for performance footwear. Rocky offers a wide selection of hunting boots, high quality work shoes, and rugged casual shoes. Materials including Gore-Tex, Polartec, and Thinsulate offer waterproofing and insulation. Hiking through the woods, at work, or sitting in your tree stand Rocky boots are perfect for your lifestyle activities. Rocky boots are built for hunters, hikers, and the working men and women so you know you can count on them to get the job done. Review: Da** Good Boots! - These boots are awesome, a little stiff at first but I'd say it took about a day and a half of wearing them on the job site to get some flexibility. They are tough boots for sure, actually stubbed my toe on a piece of angle iron today 1 didn't feel a thing, 2 it didn't leave a mark on these things. Composite toe is great for electrical work, and the grip on these da** things is great you can literally feel the traction as you walk. Great ankle support and surprisingly lightweight, and after wearing them all day on a congested job site and having to go up seven flights of stairs repeatedly at no point did my feet become uncomfortable All in all these boots deserve a 10 out of 10 I highly recommend them Review: Nice work boots for uniformed officers - I am a law enforcement office and these boots are comfortable and looks nice with the uniform. Love these boots ## Features - Defined heel - 8 Inches in height - Side Zipper for Easy On and Off - Full-grain leather upper - Rubber Outsole is Non-Marking - ASTM F2413 Electrical Hazard Standard ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00131L1PI | | Best Sellers Rank | #262,718 in Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry ( See Top 100 in Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry ) #127 in Men's Military & Tactical Boots | | Boot Form Type | Work Boot | | Boot Shaft Height | 8 | | Brand | ROCKY | | Closure Type | Zip | | Color | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 918 Reviews | | Embellishment Feature | Zipper | | Fabric type | 100% Leather | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00085787343557 | | Heel Type | Western Heel | | Insole Material | Textile | | Item Type Name | Military and Tactical Boot | | Item Weight | 4.7 pounds | | Manufacturer | ROCKY | | Material Fabric | Leather | | Model Name | Comfortable Waterproof Public Service Boot With Zipper | | Occasion | Casual | | Origin | Made in USA or Imported | | Outer Material | Leather, Nylon, Rubber | | Pattern | BLACK | | Seasons | All | | Shaft Circumference | 8 inches | | Shaft height | 8 | | Shoe Height Map | Mid-Calf | | Sole Material | Rubber | | Sole material | Rubber | | Style Name | 8-inch Round Toe Ankle-high Boots | | Style Number | FQ0006173 | | Toe Style | Composite Toe | | UPC | 085787343557 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Water Resistance Level | Waterproof | | lining-description | Fabric | ## Images ![ROCKY Men's AlphaForce Zipper Composite Toe Public Service Boots - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71sc5kUfs8L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Composite steel toe.
