Cheap and Simple
Needed the cheapest, simplest integrated levers I could find and these work great. There are two paddles on each for shifting up and down, and the up-shifters have a little resistance so I can tell which gear I'm in (at least on the left, with only 3 gears). The brake cable comes out the bottom and can be wrapped under the bar tape, but the shifter cables come out the inner sides, which some people might not like the look of. Besides that, for the price they are exactly what I needed. They've worked great for almost a year now.

best upgrade
i love these, my best upgrade so far. the grip is comfortable. they work very well and i have had no issues after a few months of use and one fall. the only issue i have is the shift lever, the throw is a little to long and i was hoping to be able to move it a few cm to shift rather than an inch. but very good quality and easy to install.

Great, durable shifters for the price!
I used these brifters to convert an old Cannondale hybrid into a drop bar gravel eater. Installation was straightforward and they shift well. I did add inline barrel adjusters since the shifter body is not threaded. This made tuning the derailleurs much easier. They feel solid and click into each gear firmly. The lever throw is a bit on the long side as compared to shimano. I personally prefer having upshift and downshift levers on the same side of the control so these are exactly what I was looking for. The right shifter will only move through 2 gears with 1 swipe of the lever. As noted elsewhere, it can be difficult to get them tight enough to eliminate the chance of them rotating in use. When I rewrap the bars I may add a little bit of grip tape begind the shifter so it stays put better. The shifters have performed well so far and all that remains is to see how well they hold up. Good choice for a budget build.Follow up: I have been using these for over 2 years without issue. I even clipped a low hanging branch while the bike was on my roof rack which knocked the shifter out of alignment and trashed the bar tape but they continue to work just fine. Excellent value.

Good inexpensive replacement
I bought these brifters to replace my old Shimano Sora 3x7 brifters. The install was easy, if you're experienced with wrenching on a bike. The front derailleur shifter is a little wonky when shifting from the large chainring to the middle ring. When you shift it will take you from the large ring to the granny gear in on click. To avoid this you have to hold the larger shift lever as you click on the smaller shift lever. This weird shifting isn't a deal-breaker but takes a bit to get used to.The rear derailleur shifter took more tweaking after installation than expected. I had some shift skipping going up and down between cassette 4 and 6, no amount of twists of the adjustment barrel helped. I had to shorten the shifter cable and housing by 10mm. Turns out this cutting solved the problem. I'm assuming shortening the length reduced a bit of slop in the cable effectively stopping the skipped shift. They look really good on my old 90s Trek, they add a modern touch and the hoods are really comfy. The only gripe I have is how far you have to push the longer shifter levers to the larger chainring or casette gears. I wear a men's medium to large glove, so I don't have small hands. I think these brifters would be tough for someone with small hands.I only have about 100 miles on them, but I'm really pleased so far. I hope they last as long as my old Shimano Soras, but if they don't, they're inexpensive enough to buy again. I'll update this review if anything goes wrong.Ride on!

Unexpected Good Functioning
I had the shifters installed, to ensure that it was done properly; and, so it was. The shifters surpassed my expectation by far. I love the push-button like trigger to shift "up"; very nice. Shifting "down" with the lever works very well and, unlike the shifters on the bike previously, with no distraction-causing difficulty. A fact that enables me to stay safe by paying attention to the road. Great value for money and a pleasure to use; even makes my bike feel expensive.
