This stuff is GREAT! Have never separated darks or used special detergent for my black clothes but I did both changes at the same time and my black shirts still look as dark as the day I got them! Have probably washed my shirts 15-20 times so far and they still look dark as heck and I'm going to keep using this detergent! You won't be disappointed by it!

The first thing I need to tell you: I am picky about my laundry. No dark items washed with white fabrics, NEVER. And darks are always washed in cold water, ALWAYS. My husband wears a lot of black clothes, especially shorts. Most important we live in Florida, the sun here is awful, mostly in summer, it burns all dark clothes instantly, I mean during 2 weeks of wearing all black clothes get fogy grey, or worse- they look like dirty. We decided to experiment on a new pair of black shorts, so far they have survived 6 washings and haven't changed a bit. Good combination of quality and price. I'm glad it didn't disappoint me.

I'm pretty simple when it comes to laundry and I don't like to bother myself with thinking about what types of detergent I should use or when or when not to use fabric softener. After being out of college and on my own, I realized that continual washing of my jeans meant they started to fade. And fade quickly. Then a friend recommended using Woolite with my newer jeans to lock in the colors and prevent them fading. Not only does it work well with jeans but it works with all other dark clothes as well. Even if you're not worried about color bleeding, momma said it best when she said to separate your dark clothes from your light clothes. Once you've got that step out of the way, wash your dark clothes with Woolite. They'll look new a lot longer.

No, no es barato, pero conserva el color mejor que cualquier otro producto que he probado, también es un buen jabón en el sentido de que no es agresivo con lo tejidos. No tiene pigmento… también probé usar colorantes para ropa en conjunto con el detergente y sólo que se usara el colorante cada vez que se hace el lavado, se podría tener un resultado más eficiente, pero aceptando que en ocasiones el color puede variar.

I've been using Woolite for Darks for about a year now on my jeans, dark pants and tops and it seems to prevent them from fading. I wasn't sure if it would affect light colours, but it doesn't: I have a a dark blue UMichigan sweater with "Michigan" stitched in yellow and the yellow wasn't affected. Doesn't have a strong smell, but it seems to get them clean. I'm impressed & I'll keep using it.

Woolite has been a must-buy for years. Delicates and colours are safe and sound with their products. The addition of "Darks Liquid Laundry Detergent" was a God-sent. Blacks stay black. as other darker colours. The smell is ok, not too perfumy. Even jeans will be cared for with Woolite. I highly recommend it.
