Honest Review with some Myth Debunking!
My gf and i buy a lot of protein pasta from several brands. Here is an honest review of what we think and possible myth debunking about some myths surrounding this pasta.First Myth, every box has Glysophate in it. They do not. Once, a batch went out in 2024 and it was quickly rectified, the company checked their source and now has a Certfied Cleanscan from the Detox Project which tests thousands of products.Second Myth, it has a "Gummy Texture" My gf and i cook our protein pasta either to the lowest timeframe or middle, but never the end. For example, the the Cavatappi says 6-8 mins, if you cook it 8 or heaven help you 9, of course the texture will get soft, that is not Al-dente! If you have pre diabetes or worse, you should NEVER cook your protein pasta this long and only use it as a side dish with more protein and healthy fats like olive oil or maybe some cheese.Third Myth. It has a "Pea Aftertaste" False! While it does have a slightly earthy taste while you eat it, to me taste slightly like beans, not peas, its certainly doesnt linger after you swallow. Tasting like something and an aftertaste are totally different things, this has ZERO aftertaste. Our ranking as a couple? My gf gives it 4 out of 5 stars in taste, i give it a solid 3.5.This is a great product, keep several protein pastas in our rotation, and surprisingly its lower glycemic hit than Barilla Red Lentil which shocks me! Also, Barilla Red Lentil tastes awful, id say this tastes better than that and Pete's TBH.We have no brand Loyalty for Protein Pasta, we cook it in the low to middle Catagory for slow absorption usually the day before so it has a day in fridge to lower the sugar spike even further. This pasta stands up well vs the top ones like carbe diem and brami and honestly, i like it better than all the Barillas. But, as a family we buy whatever protein pasta is on sale, in these tough economic times, saving money by following the sales does matter!Banza is an excellent choice and should be in everyone's rotation if you want protein pasta for either fitness or blood sugar, just dont overcook it and the texture is perfect, dont trust youtube, make a box for yourself, this is a Very Good Product, we love it! <3One more caveat id like to say is, if you have any sugar issues pre diabetes or type 2, test yourself after its cooked, then wait a day see if that lowers it. Do NOT trust a Youtuber whom says this brand spikes mine more than that brand, every persons body handles different brands different. For me, Ezekiel No sugar added bread spikes me more than Daves which adds fruit juice, it shouldnt, not at all, but every patient in diabetes reacts to different products differently, never trust one random Youtuber or Reddit user as your sole basis for sugar reaction, Test Yourself Please!!Get this pasta, put it in your rotation of brands, its very good for you, high in protein and fiber, and don't believe the myths, cook it low-to medium and you will love it like we do. Thanks Banza, great product!

Great taste and a great gluten free pasta option
This is a great gluten free option especially for dieting and weight loss. It has a great taste and texture and is versatile for cooking cold or warm pasta type dishes. It cooks fast and pairs well with other vegetables. The best part for me is that there is no bloating after I eat it! The price is three times more than regular one dollar wheat pasta but itโs worth it for health benefits.

Perfect
This is a great substitute for regular pasta. Itโs much healthier for you and the cost is what I would expect to pay for the quality. The cooking time is the same as any other dry pasta. I love that it is high in protein as well.

Easy change for more protein
This brand, has been the only brand, I have bought, since I learned I needed more protein, with my glp-1. The texture to me, is just like regular pasta and the cook time is the same.

Good gluten free option.
I got these as another option without gluten for my gut health. They are an excellent value for the amount you get. They are a low carb and have high protein. Preparation is a little of an art. I would use a lot of water and I had to skim the top several times. They taste good. And they hold up very well for gluten free.
