Amazing performances from the 3 leads; Larson giving us a flawed yet infinately likeable Captain Marvel, who, 30 years later, is still dealing with the abuse she suffered at the hands of the Kree Supreme Intelligence, showing that even superheroes get PTSD. Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau is honing her newly-acquired (Wandavision) powers as well as reconciling the feelings of loss and abandonment she feels towards Carol for leaving her when she was a child, and Iman Vellani is absolutely hands down the heart and soul of The Mavels - both the film and the superhero trio. The chemistry Larson, Parris & Vellani have on-screen is fun, energetic and is something that recent Marvel films have been missing - a cast that genuinely looks like they had the best time filming (and if you watch the BTS features, you can see that they did!).
