This is my first time buying a bento lunch box and what an introduction! It’s great and so easy to use. I bought it for my 5 year old nephew who has been dying to have a packed lunch!

Absolutely lovely but really small like can't fit a yoghurt or four squares of a sandwich in or anything and iv squashed what I can on there n but at the same time it's really nice for young children for snacking I wanted it to be alot bigger unfortunately ill have to buy a bigger one for my son

My little girl has recently started to take lunches into school as that is her preference and plus I am trying to cut back on my spending. However, she is not a huge fan of sandwiches so this bento box is a great alternative so that she can take things like pasta or leftover teas from the night before, or salads in the summer. It has separate compartments that the lid then seals in so everything stays in the right section and doesn't get all mixed up. It's dishwasher and microwave safe so that's a bonus and saves time with extra washing up too. The added bonus of the cute little cutters and fruit forks are cute!

I requested this item for my granddaughter who has started making her own packed lunches for school.Positives: Very well made with BPA free materials. Everything separates for washing, including the silicone trim in the lid. Several compartments for different food items. 4 click locks to keep the box closed. Definitely a fun item and particularly good for reluctant eaters.Negatives: No compartment for a drink. The lunch box has no carry handle. The compartments are very small. There seems to be much more focus on the accessories, rather than on the actual lunch box.I really wanted to like this item but I think the manufacturer has focused on the wrong things. Children will love the accessories and making their own sandwiches with the cutters etc., which is fine if you’re going on a picnic or a day out. However, I know what life is like in a family home with 2 working parents and 3 children aged between 4-8. Few people have the time to spend cutting out nice shapes in sandwiches. There is also the fact that the accessories, whilst appealing, create quite a lot of wasted food. For me, the lack of a carrying handle, the size of the compartments and the lack of a space for a drink are far more important. This is an expensive item, mainly because of the accessories and, had I bought it, I’d probably be returning it.

However, she did have a bit of olive juice drip into her bag even though the olives were dry originally. Not sure what happened there.I used the fruit cutters for her watermelon. The shapes came out so fun. However, the fruit was difficult to push out of the mold so I had to use a straw to help the fruit out.The bread cutters are fun. We used them as play dough molds as well as bread cutters.
