Works great
Works great, however it feels very light. Mains side of the cable could be a little longer.I use it for a device which requires 24V /600mA-1200mA, so far it seems to be good.

Works OK but feels lightweight
This 24V 3A power supply features a long cable that ends in a barrel connection. It comes with an adapter should that be required but I didn't need one, it plugged onto my light strip directly. All the specs are printed on the bottom. Build quality seems very lightweight, I was expecting it to be heavier. It does work so I can't complain about performance but I don't know if I can trust it, I don't like lightweight power supplies.

Unsafe - bin it
24V 3A Power Supply Adapter Converter AC 100V~240V to DC 24 Volt 3 Amp 72W Transformer with 5.5x2.1mm PlugThis 24v Power Supply Unit appears to be made by the same maker as a 12v PSU I reviewed a few months ago. The PSU is a generic unbranded unit and of the sameOn my initial inspection, I removed the fuse from the plug. The fuse as rated at 13A. The mains cable is very thin. the maximum fuse rating should be 5A, preferably 3A.Close investigation found that:The fuse wire was just tucked over the fuse edge, held in place by the cap fitting over it. Looking at the other end of the fuse, there was a slight gap between the cap and the fuse body, and the other end of the fuse wire could be seen in the gap, held in place by the cap. This gap can be seen by looking close-up at the fuse end, even better with a magnifying glass. The fuse wire is supposed to be attached (soldered) to the inside centre end of the cap at both ends (not folded over the body and held on by the cap). There was no sand in the fuse.- Sand is needed to control the force of the sudden expansion due to high heat when the fuse rupturesBoth of the above are part of the British Standard requirements BS1362.The fuse is marked BS1362, but does not comply. The fuse is a dangerous fake.If the above are anything to go by, I assume that the PSU itself is made as cheaply as possible and no way would I risk even plugging the PSU in, let alone connecting any equipment to it.If you do have this PSU, I recommend that it goes straight in the bin!Photos show the fuse after it has just been broken open. There is no sand, just fragments of the ceramic fuse shell. A close up also shows the bend at the end of the fuse wire where it has been tucked under the cap instead of being soldered to it.
