I ordered both the 8 inch and the 11 inch to use for doing clippings to root of my elephant ears plant that's 45 years old. Thee vases aren't cheap-looking in the least. In fact, they're very sleek, classy and modern with a matte finish. The white has thankfully no yellow tones and both look perfect in my living room. The only thing I wish was different is the size of the opening as it only fits about 3 leafy stalks. Still, it is balanced enough for greenery that grows over and downward. It seems stable and the water hasn't leaked at all. I'm hoping it stays that way. The vases would look great with a southwestern decor and/or surrounded by other flowers and plants or on their own. The shape is bigger at the bottom and tapered upwards with the bottom reinforced. The top is smooth. I'll definitely be buying more as they add a lovely esthetic to both my living room and kitchen. They look much more expensive then they are and can pass for handmade if you don't lift them. A happy purchase.

Looks good even without flowers!

I love this! Perfectly "understated" in a "strong and practical" sort of appeal. Got this to put japanese cherry blossoms in and I don't think there is a better vase for that! But, this vase would work for any type of flower or such. Five big stars. 😊
