lots of functionality, works with both iOS & Android, multiple sound connections. Weedy speaker
PROS-nice, bright, screen-works with both CarPlay and Android Auto-includes a backup camera which integrates well with the screen-good integration with Siri and Google Assistant (the more hands-free, the better)-can be used as an entertainment screen (casting from an iPhone)…probably don’t do this while driving though-4 different ways to output sound (3 connect to your car’s sound system, and it also has a built-in speaker)-can mount to dashboard and to windscreen (the longer bracket is very positionable) using a suction cup, or adhesive pad (my dash has a slight texture, so I had to use the adhesive pad)-takes power from USB (either from an appropriately equipped car, or via the cigarette-lighter to USB-C cable)-clever solution to have the backup guidance bars appear on the screen: just wire in the backup camera to the power wire of your reverse lights, the unit detects when this light is on (when you are in reverse gear), and the backup assisting lines appear on the backup camera’s feed.-can play video or audio from a TF/microSD cardCONS-sound from built-in speaker a bit weedy-included manual has no instructions as to connect the red wire of the rear camera to the reverse light power (I only found this info in the product listing here on Amazon, accidentally)NOTES-if it has a backup camera, why doesn’t it include a forward facing dash camera as well? Seems that would make a more complete kit.-why does the listing of reviews for this kit include 500 old reviews of a webcam? Seems a bit confusing (I hope that _this_ review shows up where it can be useful to potential buyers).MY STAR RATINGS:1* substandard, mostly cons2** barely acceptable, cons outweigh the pros3*** meets the basic requirements, cons balance the pros4**** good product, pros outweigh the cons5***** exceptional, all (or almost all) pros

Carplay works well
Carplay works well and is easy to setup, the main dashboard is a little laggy but when launching carplay or android auto it seems to be fine, quality is okay, enough to see your surroundings.

What a nice and useful system
So I just got an used old car and this screen has changed everything. The android auto pair as soon as I plug my phone. And it start playing my music, I can talk to it for google voice to get me directions, change the song, volume or anything else I need it for. Easy to install and no extras required just plug the cables in and its working. Anyone with an old radio need one of these for their comfort on their car. Use it everyday and will keep on it. Its get the job done.

Doesn't Work
I tried connecting to a couple of different cars just to be sure. A buzzing noise was the only noise that it made.

Bought it by luck
Bought it by luck. There were tons of similar products and rage bought it after spending hours looking for banger for my bucks. Amazed by responsiveness and resolution of the display. Installation and setup was pretty easy. As of today I have nothing to complain but happy. Really liked the product.

Large screen, easy to use
When I travel, I usually mount my phone on one of the car vents and use Google maps to get around. Lately, when renting a car I haven't had to go through this process (and the problems that ensue) because the rental cars these days come with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Those capabilities are great! When I found the Spedal NaviCam-860, I wanted to see if I can retrofit my older car with this. The fact that it's portable so I can bring it when I travel is also I nice bonus. My impressions:- The NaviCam-860 comes with a very nice screen, bright and readable. It has a base that can be mounted on a dashboard, the console divider, or any other place you can stabilize it.- The controls are intuitive and easy to use.- The unit comes with a cigarette lighter plugin to power it. This turned out to be a problem with rentals that don't have cigarette lighters. Finding a USB-C cable is easy to do, but some of the rentals do not provide enough juice to power the unit.- There is a dash-cam built into the back of the NaviCam-860, and a rear-view camera is also provided, with instructions on how to thread it to the back of the car for operation. I didn't bother hooking up the rear camera, but the dash cam works great!- I didn't work with any of the other features that the unit provides (integration with internal stereo, hands-free calling, etc. I assume this all works, but I can't confirm it here. This is a very nice unit, with a few limitations: it's easy to set up so that it blocks your view; the included cigarette-based power may not be appropriate for all car models; it takes significant power to run it; etc. I am pleased with this and will continue to put it through its paces. Recommended.
