Just right for what I was looking for (travel and the gym.) Good quality, do recommend.

This is a sturdy and well made bag. It is fairly spacious and seems to be well made! It has a lot of ways to separate stuff, it gives a lot support and is easy to carry.

As a frequent business traveler, I kept my eye on these for a while and decided this one was a good option. Why use this and not a roller? Basically, some times I don't need a whole roller bag or even a roller bag that fits under the seat. I do want the option to squish the bag a little more than a roller bag allows. Sometimes, I just need an overnight bag and this suits that nicely.But where this really shines is not air travel but overnight car travel. I used it recently on a long weekend away with my wife. There was no need for a roller bag because we weren't walking through airports. I was able to pack 3 days worth of outfits, a few jacket options, and my electronics and just toss it in the back of the car and when I arrived at our B&B I grabbed it and tossed it right in the room.One feature I think it nice is the shoe pocket. If I'm traveling overnight for business, I'm usually wearing one pair of shoes and that's it but if I'm on a weekend vacation drive, I may want a pair of nicer shoes and hiking shoes so I can go on walks, see the museums and then slip on dress shoes and grab dinner. The shoe pocket also has vent holes and the material used ensures no dirt from my shoes gets into the main pocket where the rest of my clothes are.Another good feature of this bag is that stuffs inside itself and zips up to save space and give you the option to pack this bag in your checked luggage.I really like this option for quick overnight car trips and have been able to make it work for 3 day trip as well.

First off - If you are looking for a non descript black duffle, this is for you. However if you're looking for a designer duffle, just move on. This bag plays all the right notes for what a duffle should do and then some.The material of the bag is not 5.11 durable, but it is more than adequate and quite robust. Not sure if it is denim but it does feel somewhat like it. The zippers have held up well without snagging, bending or jamming, so good there as well.The size of the bag is true to advertised 42L and large. Without using the integrated shoe bag, there is a tremendous amount of room as a carry on, and with the shoe bag filled, there is plenty of room for a short trip or even a large gym bag with a full change of business casual wear.For the money, it is an excellent duffle that has many features, pockets, pouches, and is traditional and functional in design while staying modern in design without the designer price or flashiness. This is all positive for me and I can easily recommend for others looking for similar features.

The media could not be loaded.  I like this duffle bag. The fabric is strong and the stitching looks good. The zipper pulls feel like quality metal and the zippers don't seem like the kind that will get stuck. They feel like good quality zippers. The handles are soft but strong and I like the grip that holds the two handles together for easy carrying.It is handy that this duffle bag compresses down so much, which will make it easier for storage, but I don't find it useful as a crossbody bag when it is compressed (because it won't hold much), so I won't use it that way. I will use the full bag when I travel.While dimensions are given for the external area of the duffle bag, there aren't dimensions given for the inside pockets and zipper openings. This is helpful information in case you want to know if your shoes or laptop or tablet will fit inside a particular bag. I have listed the dimensions below.Outside end pockets:1. The little pocket is 8.75 inches tall to the zipper by 5.5 inches wide.2. The larger pocket is about 11 to 11.5 inches tall (to the zipper) and about 7.5 to 8 inches wide. The larger pocket is 1 inch wide (deep) so you could fit a paperback book or something.3. On the other end, the shoe compartment zippered opening is 7.5 or 8 inches tall by 8 or 8.5 inches wide.Outside side pockets:On the long side of the bag (on the outside) are two zippered pockets, a small one in front of a larger one.1. The smaller pocket is 6.75 inches wide along the zipper by 6.5 tall to the zipper.2. The larger one is 14.5 inches long along the zipper and 8.75 inches tall to the zipper.Inside pockets:1. Inside the bag, one long side has 2 open pockets, each measuring 7.5 or 8 inches wide by 8.5 inches tall.2.
