Yes, S98 uses UHF technology, superior to 2.4GHz. However, signal can be affected by distance, physical obstructions (walls, glass), and interference from electronics like Wi-Fi, transmitters, and other devices. This is NOT a product defect.

What if my mic keeps cutting out or sounds choppy?

Don't worry – this is usually temporary interference, not a malfunction. Keep the main unit away from other electronics and walls/glass. Over 90% of our customers resolve this by re-pairing the mic and speaker (see Q3). It takes less than 30 seconds.

How do I re-pair the microphone to fix connection issues?

1. Turn on speaker, short press M button for UHF mode ("UHF Mode" tone). 2. Long press M button on speaker about 3s until "UHF" flashes ("waiting" tone). 3. Turn on mic, long press its M button until speaker stops flashing ("paired" tone).

What if my wireless headset microphone stops working within the first year?
