Excellent quality and DOES fit 2007 Chevy 2500HD Silverado
Yes Virginia, it really DOES fit a Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD 2007! Purchased other tailgate cables that said they fit but didn't. This one actually does and it's quality is excellent. Save money and buy these instead of the OEM cables that cost 3x the money. I've had them on my truck for over a month now and have no issues with them. They do the job just as they are supposed to.

Dont over tighten
Got these to replace the old ones as one broke leading to a sag in one side of my tailgate. These were easy to install and fit great, though one side is a tad longer than the other so it is minimal support. Just dont over tighten the lower bolt when installing, it needs to swivel or it will jam up and the tailgate wont close all the way!

Great Replacement Tailgate Straps
My old straps started to fray and broke. Bought these as a replacement. Have had them on the truck for a good while, they are a perfect replacement, seems to be more rugged than OEM, and are easy to install. I am very happy with these straps.

Nice replacement for original broken cables on my duramax
When I got my truck both sides were broken. I found these and you can’t really go wrong for the price. They are very easy to install and seem to be really heavy duty. I’d say it’s money well spent.
