Wanted Simple phone
At 87 I expected a machine which would be easy to use without problems. The information supplied was certainly not easy for me either to read or understand .Things like having to reset time etc when battery expired which was nearly every two days, how to download apps- never had to find them before ,wifi and internet info still not found or navigation very problematic . All I was looking for was a simple phone to use without all the extra options and a simple explanatory guide. The other options whilst useful were not required

One of the better phones I've used
It's a cheap and cheerful 'phone with a surprisingly good set of features for the price I paid (AFAIR, Amazon prefers reviews not to mention prices, so I'll just say it would have been about 2 hours and 5 minutes' work at the minimum wage. :) ).Good points: Good call quality; Nice loud speaker; Feels solid enough (I won't say sturdy, but nothing rattles); 'Real' built-in torch, i.e. a decent LED on the top; 3.5mm headphone jack that also accepts a "3-stripe" plug with a mic; good MP3 player; µUSB connection which works for charging and data (a bit slow though, maybe USB 1.1?); Accepts an old Nokia thin-plug charger; Clear, bright screen; No web browser (though some may consider this a disadvantage); Can use any mp3 as a text alert, but see the comment below about storage.Bad points: No vibration (it has both a silent mode and a 'meeting' mode, which claims to vibrate but doesn't. After emailing the seller they confirmed this model doesn't vibrate); Camera quality is awful (pictures are saved at VGA resolution but I suspect they're interpolated from a smaller CCD); No predictive text; SMS font looks a little odd; Practically no on-board storage, so you will need a µSD card if you want to use any except the provided ring-tones (and I'm pretty sure you will!); Default theme reminds me of the old Windows XP 'Teletubby' theme. Personally I'd rather they'd left out the camera and added a vibrating unit instead. It often turns itself off while charging, but not if I'm using a USB charger. Possibly there's something wrong with my old charger.I did have some misgivings about the key lock, which is deactivated by holding down the 'Call 2'/menu key for a few seconds. That key is right next to the 'Call 1' key, so if something in your pocket taps that part of the 'phone repeatedly you've an excellent chance of making an accidental call, even if you're only using one SIM card. After using the 'phone for six months, I've found spurious calls to recent numbers are rare, but it's by far the worst 'phone I've had for dialing emergency numbers. Too many times I've pulled it out of my pocket to see "99" or "11" (or worse) on the screen. The included 0.5 Ah battery lasts for almost two days on standby, and most of a day if some short calls are made. If, like me, you end up plugging in an adaptor to use the mp3 player in your car, you'll need to spend a few spons on a better battery or an in-car charger. All in all though, an excellent 'phone for the price, and I hope it keeps going.

Cheap, no frills - but very basic
I bought this phone as a cheap replacement while my main phone was being repaired.Pros - Very, very cheap. Calls and SMS work fine. Dual SIM is quite handy as it means it could be taken on holiday as a replacement phone for two people, or used to run dual business/personal lines. It has a basic torch feature and a calculator, neither of which I've had any use for yet.Cons - It has virtually no other redeeming features, other than being a basic mobile phone. Only a very basic camera and FM radio, cannot use wi-fi or data so no email or Internet, no MMS, no apps, no touchscreen. The user interface is not very intuitive and the memory (for texts) fills up very quickly. I was aware of this before purchasing however, so I'm not at all disappointed with the product. All in all, I'm happy with the purchase for the price paid as I know I have a basic back-up I can rely on in emergencies. I would recommend setting expectations very low before purchasing. There isn't even any retro credibility, as it lacks the sturdiness and usability of, say, a Nokia 3310. It would also note that the phone itself is quite small, which is either a good thing or a bad thing depending on your point of view.

Disappointing.
This phone has many good points. Camera, Video (though needs a MicroSD card - they don't tell you that in the spec), torch, fm radio, etc. What I needed however was a mobile phone, preferably dual SIM. To be fair, making a call is simple. Type in the number and press one of the two call buttons for SIM1 or SIM2.It is using Contacts where it falls down. First select Contacts then select the contact you require. So far so good. Now it gets more complicated since once youve selected the contact you want to call, you now need to select Options and tab down to select Call (Edit is the first option), Now, reasonably, you select which SIM you want to use for the call. I'm sure if you used the phone a lot, you'd get used to it, but quite frankly, if you used the phone a lot, you'd buy a better phone. There is no facility for fast dial, i.e. press and hold one of the number buttons to automatically dial a number. As an emergency/occasional phone, this is just plain frustrating. The instructions are interesting. Under Troubleshooting - Phone call quality is poor, we are told to "Increase the call volume using the key on the side of the phone". The phone has no keys on the side of the phone. Doesn't give much confidence to the rest of the instructions. Finally, the colour. Mine was red, bought for my wife. When you take the White back off, it is made of red plastic, but the front is white and when the back is on, you just get a red bezel around the edge. Hardly a red phone. OK, I knew that from the pictures, but still find it bizarre

Decent wee phone.
If you just need a phone to make calls and send texts it does the job well. The battery life is shorter than I would like but I have another phone made by the same people and it has a wonderful long life for the battery so it may just be my battery for this particular model that's the problem. On the whole I'm pleased with it. The phone does what I need it to.

You get what you pay for .
Why dual sim ?It would seem at this point of writing , that you need two sims, one for text messaging and one for phoning .Phone it self is like the old nokia phones , solid .Too early to say what the battery life is like.
