Purchased for my weekly men's fitness session to replace a couple of Sondico indoor balls that were cheap, but went out of shape quickly. It seems to be a real struggle to find indoor footballs with the fluffy/velvet textured surface, a toss up between this and the Sondico balls.This ball is used exclusively for indoor 5-a-side so its '50% less bounce' feature is great for keeping it under control, even for a ham-footed clod like me. The team was a bit apprehensive about its solid feel, but now we're used to it we find it easier to control due to the reduced bounce. And because it's sometimes like kicking a bowling ball it encourages better technique - you don't want to toe-punt this baby!The ball is one-piece construction, not stitched panels, and I'd hazard a guess that there's no bladder inside. So far it's working out well for us, it's kept its shape perfectly and my score-rate has increased since we started playing with it because it's not bouncing off my foot at bizarre angles.

Five a side indoor footy has just reached another level with this ace piece of kit, control and power seem to be better than the last ball but it's the safety aspect achieved with the lack of sting created by power shots , which all players from both sides especially the goal keepers have commented on appreciatively . This generates an extra edge of confidence in your game without any compromise . Got this product at an excellent price too , at a third of the price compared to the sport shop, very pleased as you can see from the five star rating we all gave it 😃

Definitely the best indoor football. Pace of the ball is ideal, and doesn't bounce around too much off the wall/floor. Balls last about 9-12 months being used 1 hour a week.UPDATE:23/05/2017.The quality of these balls has dropped considerably. Purchased 2 in January, after a few games 1 was badly warped and bounced as it rolled! Both balls lost their colour and a lot of the fluff within about 6 weeks, resulting in them bouncing around the place much more.Have contacted Mitre for an explanation, on the look out now for a different make.

We use this ball every week for our indoor football and it holds up so much better than other indoor balls. Excellent ball and well worth the money.

These Mitre Cyclones are the go to ball for indoor football, however they only last 4-5 one hour games, then they egg or go bald, or both... surely in 2020 they could make them last longer, or is that the aim!!

Great indoor football. Was a bit skeptical going for size 5 rather than 4 but was the right decision. Feels much better than using a normal ball indoors

Wir sind eigentlich weichere Hallenbälle gewohnt. Dieser Ball hier ist sehr hart. Deshalb haben wir dann auch gleich einen anderen bestellt, da es schmerzhaft ist mit diesem Ball zu spielen.

Eh oui, c'est l'inénarrable Doc Gynéco qui ouvre ce commentaire avec sa chanson sur le monde du ballon rond. Car, en jouant en indoor, il y a des chances que la musique ne soit pas loin, et obligatoirement résonnera au bout d'un moment cet hymne, suivi rapidement du "Santa Maradona" de la Mano Negra...Pour en revenir à ce qui nous intéresse, voilà donc un ballon velu et tout de jaune coloré pour taper la balle au chaud pendant ce (semi) froid hivernal. Les dessins violacés sont joliment flashy et procurent un petit côté funky au ballon pas déplaisant du tout. Chez la vieille entreprise qu'est Mitre, on sait faire des ballons, et même si celui-ci est fabriqué en Inde, le cahier des charges est parfaitement respecté ici. Poids, rebond, coutures solides, rien ne manque chez ce Cyclone qui semble pouvoir endurer de nombreuses parties sans ciller. A titre personnel, il n'a pour le moment servi que deux fois, mais tout le monde l'a trouvé de bien meilleure tenue que celui proposé par la salle où nous jouons habituellement. Reste maintenant à s’assurer de sa réelle résistance dans le temps, mais vu la qualité habituelle chez Mitre, cela ne m’inquiète guère…
