If you follow the instructions, you will find the paper very easy to work with. I printed out a test tattoo to begin with. You can see that the letter "b" smudged a bit as it came out of the printer. That was my fault because I didn't pull the tray arm out to prevent the paper from falling out. The adhesive paper is easy to apply. Peel back about an inch and apply to the top of the tattoo paper. Use a ruler as they suggest to peel back the rest. After successfully applying the tattoo to my wrist (follow the instructions!), I printed off the remaining tattoos. Every tattoo printed perfectly!

I really wanted this item to work so I tried many tattoos on one sheet. During the trial, I tried cleaning skin on the application area with different items (soapy water, just water, alcohol wipes, etc...) prior to placing the tattoo on the skin. I also tried a damp paper towel, a more-than-damp rag, a sponge, and held for anywhere from 10 to 30 seconds (instructions say 10). Some tattoos came of with the backing paper, some were warped, some stuck and looked successful. Of the successful ones, all started to wrinkle within minutes and either fell off or looked like a shiny bandaid with distorted image/writing and then fell off within the next 20 minutes. One of my kids though it would hurt like a bandaid when he started to pull it off, but he was surprised when it was already half off under his sleeve.It's very unfortunate this product doesn't work, I wanted "if I'm lost, please call" tattoos for my kids for a trip. I doubted the other 1-star review, thinking that lady just didn't follow directions. Now I doubt any review other than the 1-star review.Bummer!

Works well

I saw temporary tattoos of your friends pictures and instagram, and decided to make them myself! It was very easy, and less than half the price. You just get the tattoos really wet so they will stick. My son is having an elementary market and we are making tattoos for him to sell. I didn’t need any special programs to make them, I just copied the images to word.

Got these to try out tattoo designs before getting them finalized and just for fun. Did a couple designs for my mom and she couldn't decide so I made her temporary tattoos. Left is freshly on and right is after about 5 days. Lasted better than I expected, likely helps that it's been chilly so no sweating and less frequent showers. Just have to make sure you give it time to dry and be properly set

Good for only like a day or two. And leaves a sticky residue . Only good for one time use
